The Stardust Crusade Mission

Status: Completed

Objective: Travel to Cairo, Egypt to kill the notorious vampire Dio Brando, a now-deceased member of the Joestar family. Free Joestar descendant, Holly Joestar-Kujo from the Stand-inflicted curse caused by Dio.

On January 17th, 1989, Dio Brando had officially died, with the stolen corpse of Jonathan Joestar disintegrating at sunrise, with Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, and a few select SPW members as witnesses.

Mission Details

After succumbing into a coma due to a Stand curse, Holly Joestar-Kujo's life was in danger, as the curse was caused by the awakening of DIO's Stand, The World. Unlike the current members of the Joestar bloodline, she did not possess the strong fighting will needed to control her Stand, and thus, fell victim to it. This spurred Joseph Jostar and Jotaro Kujo, her father and son, to travel to Cairo, Egypt, to find DIO and kill him, not only for the sake of Holly but the world at large. Five other respective Stand Users joined them during their travels, some being former servants of the belligerent vampire himself. This includes Noriaki Kakyoin, Jean Pierre Polnareff, and Jaqueline Brown.

Dio's death is not the end. His influence around the world runs deep, creating victims young and old alike. Special agents of the Foundation are currently tracking as many as they can to provide the help they need, as it is suspected that Dio has caused emotional, mental, and physical harm to former servants. As for casualties from the perilous battle in Cairo and those used as vampire fodder, the Foundation is reaching out to their families to provide substantial compensation for funeral costs and living expenses.
