3rd Person POV
"James Potter, I swear to merlin!" Comes a yell from another compartment.

Marlene looks at James. "Who's that?" Marlene has ashy blonde hair tied up into a bun, with a few stray curls escaping. Her green eyes are filled with a confusion, as she stares at James. Her full pink lips purse, and glance to the small redhead beside her. Marlene looks 6 feet tall next to her, but is only 5'8. Her light skin glows from the sun shining through the window. She wears grey sweatpants and an orange shirt. Marlene's mother loves going shopping, and takes Marlene to go shopping for muggle clothes all the time. Her mother is a witch, but became very accustomed to the muggle world when she started dating Marlene's father, though he left her once he realized she was a witch, when Marlene was six. Ever since Marlene has been raised by a single mother in very traditional wizard style, and shopping is some of Marlene's only exposure to the muggle world, though she is a half blood. Marlene turns to James, as she plays with the hem of her shirt, searching for an answer.

James looks like this is the worst day of his life. He runs his hands through his dark and curly unkempt hair. His hazel eyes, surrounded by his circle, wire framed glasses, are filled with apprehension. His tan skin accentuates his muscles. He is one of the tallest in the compartment, only smaller than the sandy haired person sprawled across the bench with a book, at 6'2. He has a white shirt and black jeans on. Though part of a long pureblood family, James' parents and James himself do not think blood status defines your worth, and James makes a point to do more muggle like things, like learning how to drive and wearing muggle clothing. Even though he is capable of that, muggles and their life is a mystery to James. "Oh merlin," he says, looking towards the source of the voice.

"Who is that?" Remus asks. He is the tallest in the compartment, 2 inches taller than James. He's noticeable because of his height, and the scars across his face, which make the otherwise unnoticeable boy quite noticeable. He is already in his Gryffindor robes, a small prefect badge pinned to them. He is a half-blood, but his mother loves magic so much that she was happy to have her son raised like he was a pure blood, making muggles a mystery to Remus as well as other purebloods. He and Lily are the reason they are in the same compartment, having wanted to talk about prefect stuff, and the rest of the guys followed. His doe brown eyes dart between James and the girl who just walked into the compartment. His face twists into confusion when he sees how similar the girl and James look.

The girl has long, wavy black hair, which goes down to the middle of her back. Her light green eyes are full of annoyance, and her full lips are pressed together, as if she's trying not to scream. Her skin is tanner than James' but she is just as strong. She's taller for a girl, at about 5'6, but does not look it compared to Remus, James and Marlene. She's wearing a black sweater and jean shorts. There's a thin silver ring on her middle finger, which the sunlight reflects off of to blind anyone who dare look. She turns towards James, and finally gives in to her urge to scream. "Where is my WAND?"

"Who is she?" Peter asks. Peter's light hair glints in the sunlight, making it look grey. His blue eyes show their usual confusion, as his eyes dart between James and the girl. Peter is the most unnoticeable of the group, not being particularly strong, smart, funny, or handsome. He wears neutral clothing that makes him blend in more, like now in his black jeans and tan t shirt. He is not the shortest of the boys, as he is taller than Sirius, but isn't an unnerving height like the rest, only being 5'11. Peter's a half blood, but his mother, a witch, died when he was young, so he was raised very similarly to a muggle born. He used to get bullied until James put a stop to it completely in 3rd year. He says he'll always be grateful for James because of that, but James acts like its nothing.

"WHERE is it?"

"Who is she?" Dorcas says, repeating Peter's words. She's leaning against the compartment door opposite to the one the girl came in. That does nothing for her height, making her appear shorter than she is, though she's about average at 5'5. Dorcas has chocolate colored skin that glows, even though she's never done much for it. Emmeline and Lily always complained about how she got the best genetics, though they are both gorgeous as well. Her long hair is pitch black, and doesn't have a curl in sight, and it's tied into a high ponytail. Her dark eyes show skepticism and distrust towards the new girl in the compartment. She wears a ABBA shirt tucked into a pair of blue skinny jeans. Her wrist has a gold bracelet, which used to be her aunts before she passed away. Dorcas is a half blood, her father's a wizard and her mother's a muggle. Dorcas loves how her father has always been honest with her mother, and how proud Jane was when her eldest daughter found out she was a witch. Dorcas prefers to embrace both her muggle and wizard roots, and dresses to fit a muggle as often as she can, especially to make her younger sister, who's not a witch, more comfortable.
