Never Forget Sequel To Divorce Jung Jaehyun ff

Chapter 14

A few days later it is the day we settle the divorce and about the custody issue. I'm a bit nervous but this needs to be done. I grab my purse and head to the law firm. The drive takes about 20 minutes from the house. I asked Mark to help pack my things in the house and get them in boxes. I don't want to be surrounded by all the memories there plus he owns the house, so it doesn't feel right to live there on his property if we weren't together.

I stand outside a few feet from the door. I look at the sign on the door 'Namjoon lawyer firm'. I smiled before heading inside and stopped in front the receptionist. "Hi, what can I do for you?" She says looking up from the computer. "I have an appointment to meet with Namjoon" I said, and she nodded looking something up on the computer. "Oh Nila Jung, appointment at 1:30" she says. I cringe at the name and nod my head. "All right go upstairs on the elevator to the 3rd floor and the first door on your right" she said. I thanked her and remembered the directions given to me.

I stood in front of the door; I was about to knock on it when it suddenly opened. I looked to see Jaehyun standing in front of me. I put my arm back down to my side and sighed. "Excuse me" I said and squeezed passed him. I walked into the room and saw Haechan and Namjoon sitting down getting the paperwork ready. "Good afternoon Haechan and Namjoon" I said and sat down setting my things down in the chair beside me. They both looked up and smiled at me, "This should be everything" Haechan says to Namjoon. Jaehyun walked in and sat down next to Haechan while Namjoon moved to sit beside me so we can discuss the documents to process this divorce. 

Namjoon took his laptop out while I looked at the settlements we wanted. I read over mine making sure everything was correct. I didn't want anything of Jaehyun's properties or his money, all I wanted was to be away from him. I looked at everything he said and that's when something caught my eye. It said he wants my savings which was about 2 million dollars. "Well let's get started shall we" Haechan says. I looked up at Jaehyun, "I don't agree with the settlements". Namjoon and Haechan looked confused, "I thought you did?" Namjoon says. I looked at him and shook my head no. 

"I agree with everything except for splitting my savings" I said and Haechan cuts in " I thought those were both of yours". "No those are mine; I've been saving that money before I even married Jaehyun, I've been saving that much since I was 5. He doesn't have any right to claim and split that money". Haechan and Namjoon sighed, Jaehyun looks at me, "Remember those vows we made, what's yours is mine sweetheart" he says and smirks. "You asshole" I gritted through my teeth. "Well let's get back to it, I get half of that 2 million" Jaehyun says grabbing the paper from Haechan and signing it. 

I grabbed my pen and signed my name. Jaehyun and I switched the paper signing once more before handing each other's paper back. "That's it, as for the custody problem the courts decided to have trial 2 weeks from now" Namjoon says and stands up after placing all paperwork into his brief case. Haechan and Namjoon leave the room. It was now Jaehyun and I there alone. I begin to stand up grabbing my things about to leave when his voice stopped me. "Are you okay? You look kind of pale". I looked towards him and saw him coming closer to me. "Why do you care huh? Stop worrying about me and worry about yourself". "I still care about you, you're the mother of my children" he says and caresses my face. 

I grabbed his wrist removing it from my face. "Don't touch me like that ever again, it's already bad enough to look at you". I started to walk off, but Jaehyun pulled me back and placed both of his hands on my shoulders. "Why do you have to be so cold to me? I know I messed up, but you could treat me like a human being at least!" he yells while shaking me. I held my mouth as I felt myself beginning to throw up. Jaehyun looks at me concerned, I took a breath and looked up at him. "Cold? A human being? Jaehyun you did the same thing. You were cold and treated me like your puppy dog knowing I would follow you anywhere no matter what the damages was". I removed his arms from my shoulder and walked away.

The room began to feel dizzy, so I held the wall for support. I was about to fall when I caught myself. Jaehyun came beside me noticing and held me. He helped me to a chair and went to get me a bottle of water. I thanked him and took a couple of sips from the bottle. "Nila, are you sure that you're, okay?" he asked. I nodded my head and looked away from him waiting for the dizziness to wear off. "You don't have to stay here with me you can leave and go to Yeon Jun" I said but he ignored me. After 10 minutes of silence, I felt better and stood causing Jaehyun to stand up. "Thank you for staying beside me but I need to go" I said and left the room leaving him behind.

I wait for the elevator to reach the floor. The doors opened and I stepped inside pressing the button that heads to the first floor. I walked out passing the receptionist, "Have a nice day" she says. "Thank you, you too" I said and pushed the door open leaving the building. I make it to my car and opened the door when a sudden force closed it back scaring me. I turn around to see Jaehyun. "What are you doing?!". "Nila, why didn't you tell me? I mean the signs were pretty clear with the dizziness and the throwing up" he says pressing me against the car closing me in with his arm on each side of my head. "What are you talking about? Tell you what?" I asked confused. "Why didn't you tell me that you are pregnant?".
