I looked back at her quizzically and then, answered back a loud yes with a hint of worried eyes.

"Yes! I was with her!"

"Oh, but..I'm, Are you sure? "She bit her lower lip, starting at me as if I was a mad person.

"Rixelle.. Just tell me where she is, please. " Now, I have all my worries in me, making my chest heavy as I tired not to hold back the tears about to fall out of my eyes any moment now.

"Myrax, the police have found no one with you in the car during the incident.. It's either.." She paused, gazing away from me and thus, causing me to force myself to sit up despite the pain and shook her by the shoulders back and forth.

"Rixelle!"

"S-Sorry! But that's that."

I let go of her and glanced down at the white sheets beneath me, trying to recollect my thoughts about my mom.
I love you and your dad, sweetheart.

I placed a hand on my forehead as Mother's words echoed throughout my mind.

I knew that she was there with me. I'm sure of it.

I clenched my fist tightly before looking back at my best friend, who's looking all so worried and concern.

"I need to find her. "

Rixelle shook her head disapprovingly. I knew she wouldn't let me go from what anyone can currently see in my situation. She's just like mom, except a teenage girl acting like my own.

I let out my own heavy sigh, slumping back in the bed, shutting my eyes as my mind flooded with the whereabouts of my mother.

"It's fine. I'm sure we'll find her soon.."

"We will."

After awhile, my sapphire orbs darted against the screen, we decided to watch television in order to pass time. Rixelle pealed off some apples beside me as I continued to watch the news, showing an image of a car crash, which of course was about ours.

"Here we are reporting about a car accident who belonged to the owner, Mrs. Lorraine Hoxette, which is reported as missing.. " The reporter's documentary made me focus all of my remaining attention at the screen, listening carefully. She carried her mic with her as she approached a police investigator, who seemed to have just got done observing the accident.

"From what it looks like, it seems like only very few of ya folks can get up a pretty minor injury. It's either someone took the old folk somewhere, because I sure as hell she ain't walking that fast and away from here. " After that, he scratched his beard and fixed his cap, to be followed by the reporter giving her thanks before turning her sight once more at the camera ."Despite of this mystery, her daughter, had been successfully rescued who's currently suffering from minor injuries.. " I feel like I'm going to have an anxiety attack as I watch, biting my lower lip.

The news continued on as the camera was dragged to the what seemed like the truck that collided with us.

It was a gasoline truck.

The investigator nodded at the view before him; a massive area of the forest was burnt, tall numerous trees were scattered and blocking the road. And it was pretty obvious that the incident had caused a forest fire due to the gas making an impact.

Before I could get more attach to the screen, a sudden flashed appeared and there was no reporter nor anyone in the TV.

I turned my head to Rixelle, looking a little annoyed to see that she was the one responsible for it.

"I was watching it! Turn it back on!"

She only shook her head no, placing the remote to a corner where she knew I couldn't be able to reach.

"You've known enough.. I don't want to see you like that.. I'm sorry."

I shrugged as I tugged on my blanket and let out an exasperating sigh. It's a miracle on how I survived, with the incident that looked too impossible to get out alive. Maybe, mother is still alive, I hope. But as the image of the forest flashed through my mind, it only did nothing but to sink my remaining hope down to my feet.

The fog was getting thicker and thicker as I wandered around the forest, hearing my mom's soothing voice, beckoning me to follow it.
"Mom? Where are you?"

I asked, hoping to get an answer instead of the occasional "Follow me, deary."

Getting a little disappointed without a response, I however did my best to keep my track on the voice, running from here and there and turning my sight at the every corner.

Soon as time goes by, the image of the forest was slowly drifting away from me and was soon out my sight as the voice had kept me focused in just by following it. I never looked back nor looked up at the now reddening moon and turning crimson red, instead moved forward . Not giving any damn to my surroundings, Mother needs me. Suddenly, the voice turned into light dark chuckles, sending me thoughts of confusion as I made a halt from my long run. It was only then when I had taken a chance to notice that I was standing at the edge of the cliff, and beneath me had presented a sea of fire before my eyes.

I took a slow step away from the cliff, carefully, I turned around only to see a woman, who got a stunning beauty and perfect appearance for any man to throw themselves at her. She wore a gown, which was as black as the hawk's feather and a long maroon straight hair that reached her waist raised and eyebrow, and there was then when I discovered that those chuckles belonged to no other than the woman in front of me as she omitted one as an example . For some reason, I was getting nervous for the fact that she was blocking my attempt to get myself away from the dangerous cliff and into the sea of fire.

"You and that bitch should be where you belong.." The maroon haired woman said, a light smirk forming upon her red ruby lips.

My lips tried to speak and talk back to her, confused. What did she meant by it? However my lips were sealed and I couldn't find myself speak even though my mind commanded it.

After a few seconds, she took a step closer to to, slowly raising her hand and gave me a gentle push just enough to set me off the ground, and fall into the fire below.

Her sickening smirk never left her lips as she continued, "..To the deepest depth of hell." And with that, I found my very own father standing beside the woman as she slowly wrapped her arms around him, her gaze falling down to me as she slowly closed the space between their lips.

It hurt. It broke me into a million pieces, I reached my hand up as if trying to stop her, yet before I can see them kiss, I had already made an impact to the sea of fire.
