"what's all the commotion around here?" upon hearing the scream, many people rushed over at once, including yun jin.

"m-miss yun jin! you must leave at once! a ghost has been spotted! we need to call an exorcist before it's safe again."

a contrast to how someone would usually react in this situation, the wangsheng funeral parlour director had a huge grin on her face, eyes sparkling like stars in the night sky.

"ooohh, a ghost? is it miss phantom of yun-han? where is she? it's been so long since i last saw her!" hu tao clapped her hands together, running off before anyone could stop her.

"hu tao- nevermind then. who even is qiao-qiao? why does she have the same name as my sister?" yun jin mumbled to herself, turning to leave.

suddenly, the air grew cold. yun jin felt a light touch on her shoulder. she froze, as if time had stopped. a low whisper flowed into her ear.

"do you remember me?"

"who are you? get away from me!"

"aw, so cold to your own family? if that is what you want, then so it shall be. let's perform together next time!"

silence was all that came after. she couldn't feel anyone touching her shoulder anymore, but it felt like the air was pressing against her. it was getting hard to breathe and her heart rate sped up.

by the time she had dared to turn back, no one was there.
