A/N Purple's animator is named Morgan
With the absence of Minecraft, Purple moved on to another game; League of Legends. They could tell their animator was pretty worried for them after what happened with Minecraft. Their animator often skips school now to stay with Purple. Probably not the best habit, however, Purple could not get themselves to do well on their own. The silence would be deafening and the coldness of no physical touch got even heavier.
It was a late afternoon when Purple was watching their animator, Morgan type out an essay about some sort of President, which confused the stick out of Purple as they didnt know what a President was. Morgan looked down at Purple and sighed. The situation was getting too far out of hand, and they needed a solution to help Purple. Unable to focus, Morgan quickly saved their essay.
[Need to take a break, want to watch a Youtube video?] Morgan asked Purple. At Purples eager nod, they quickly pulled up Youtube. Noticing a certain stick figure video, the animator realized they havent watched the last few videos of their favorite animator, Alan Becker. Clicking on the newest episode, Animation vs Minecraft Episode 2 The Building Contest, Morgan didnt notice Purples nervous reaction. Throughout the episode, Morgan realized Purple was missing something, a friend. Sure they were friends with Purple, but Purple needed a friend that was a stick figure.
After the video ended, Morgan pulled up his animation program.
[I was thinking that maybe I could make you a stick figure friend, that way you dont have to be alone so much] Purple typed out, hoping Purple would agree, cause if Purple didnt like the idea, then they would respect that.
[Do you not want to be friends?] Purple asked, feeling their world tilt. Were they being too clingy? Purple didnt want to be too much of a burden.
Morgan took a deep breath before typing out a response. [Not at all, but I know youre lonely while Im at school. I want you to be happy.]
Purple looked anxiously at Morgan before agreeing. Morgan nodded before going over to the colors. Thinking back to the video, Morgan knew their Purple needed a friend like that orange stick figure. Choosing a dark orange, Morgan drew a tall stick figure that would be able to protect Purple. The shade was Mango Tango, so Morgan figured MT for short would be a good name. With a few simple clicks, MT was brought to life.
MT woke with a stretch and looked over to Purple. Raising a hand, MT waved at Purple. That was all Purple needed before running over and hugging MT. Startled, MT looked down at Purple unsure what to do. Wrapping them around Purple, MT looked very awkward.
So what do you do for fun? MT asked with an air of awkwardness. Seeing the avm video on the other window, MT pointed to it while asking Do you do anything like that?
Purple looked over sadly. Not anymore. By now, Morgan had moved back to doing homework, letting the stick figures do their own thing.
Why not? MT asked, trying to sound empathetic.
The villagers in my owl village imprisoned me. Purple sighed. These other sticks came over, and I messed up. Morgan is just worried that something like that would happen again.
I see, MT hummed. Already making plans in his head, MT moved into a more comforting position for Purple. It would be in his best interest to get Purple on his side. Did those sticks not care that you got locked up on your own computer? Sounds to me like you just need a good friend, I can be that. MT stated, manipulating his own tone to sound like he was on Purples side.
You mean it? Purple asked with a hopeful tone, already liking the idea of a friend.
Course, friends are loyal to each other and I swear to be loyal to you always, MT smirked with every word. With that, Purple smiled as they leaned into MT.
Oh, we can play League of Legends! Purple squealed as they pulled MT over to the game.
