Morgans POV
By the time I got home it was dark and all the lights in the house were off which meant Mav was at work.
"Yay another loney night." I huffed walking into the house going to my room an throwing my bag in befor going to the kitchen to cook dinner.
As I finished cooking I got a feeling that someone was watching me. i just kept my expressions nutrol not showing any signs I knew. I didn't feel like they were a threat so I just went on like normal. I just grabbed an extra bowl an spoon most likely confusing whoever was in my house.
"Are you going to sit there and stare all night or do you want something to eat?" I asked turning to the dark shadowy area in my living room.
Dereks POV
"How did you know I was there?" I asked with a scowl.
"Didn't know it was you, just felt someone watching me." He said shrugging his shoulders. "Theres a spare bowl and spoon if you want something to eat." He said plainly but I could almost taste the bitterness in his words. "You can either eat an talk about whatever it is you came here for or just go." He said looking at his food taking a seat at the kitchen island.
I went and grabbed the extra bowl of food about to sit down.
"I was hoping you would'nt do that." He sighed glumly.
"You gave me a choice an I chose." I pointed out
"You know your alot different from when we were kids." Morgan said rather bluntly not taking his eyes away from the bowl.
"Well I did loose everyone and evrything I had in a fire." I replied sarcastically.
"Your not the only one." Morgan siad bitterly as his eyes welled still avoiding eye contact.
"Im sorry." I said after a awkward silence. I could smell his anger and sadness coming off him, the scent only growing with the emotions building. I dont think Morgan actually processed seeing me during the full moon. His emotions would have been all over the place when I told him. Hell the last time he had seen me was the fire. He must of thought I had died when it happened. I knew he would have questions so thats why I came here. To talk and clear the air and answer some questions.
"How are you alive? Why didn't you tell me or reach out? Why are you here now!?" Morgan aksed getting up starting to yell, the tears began to slip. His heart was getting faster."You could have found me!" He started hitting my chest, his eyes changed and started glowing. I kept my arms down in shame. I didn't actually think he would be so hurt seeing me. "Why!" He pleeded hitting my chest harder. "All you had to do was look!'' I felt my ribbs start to crack and the physical pain was starting to hurt alot so I pulled him into a bear hug as he sobbed and squermed trying to break out. I felt sorry for him, he was in this moment just a broken kid and not the anrgy smartass he met the other night. He stopped struggeling and just sagged his small slim figure into my own his tears making a wetpatch in my grey shirt. His breathing was deep and raggered from all the crying. "Why... why didn't you reach out?" Morgan asked between gulps for air.
"I had lost everyone and everything I had ever known." I said still holding his shaking body. "And I did try and reach out." I said causing Morgan to look up at me with his puffy eyes confused. "I found a mans number when you moved. I told him my name but the man said that I had the wrong number so after that I gave up. It was my last lead to you." I said sighing.
"Wait what..?" Morgan asked sounding shocked steppping back a foot. "What was the name of the person you talked to?" Morgan asked. He looked like he knew who it was but wanted me to say it as smelled desperation.
