8. THE CONFRONTATION AND THE COMFORT

PS: Continuation of the last one.

Anubhav was sitting in Mandap, his eyes just searching for his beloved, and that's when Gungun came as their eyes met, and there Anubhav knew, the trauma she went through yesterday wasn't yet gone. He further noticed her attire, she was looking breath-taking, in that dark shaded red lehenga, with the golden embroidery at its end, her hairs were tied in a bun and the veil on her head.

Anubhav was just glancing at Gungun, who was having a smile on her face, but the emptiness in her eyes, as she came and sat beside Anubhav in the Mandap, while she looked at him, and he raised his eyebrows, asking if she's alright, while Gungun just blinked her eyes, trying to assure him.

"Gungun bitiya, tum toh bohot sundar lag rhi ho, kisiki nazar na lage..." said Sunanda smiling, as she placed a kala tika behind Gungun's ear to which Gungun smiled wholeheartedly as she said, "Thankyouuu Badi Maa."

Sunanda backed off with a smile, as the rituals started, while Anugun's eyes were locked with eachother, whole this time.

Everyone was having a happy time, as Gungun clicked pictures with Golu Chachu gang, and was even teasing Anubhav, while he was relieved thinking that she's finally coming out of the yesterday's trauma. He was just contentful seeing her old happy and jovial self.

The duo got engrossed in the functions as they were having good time with everyone there, as the rituals got completed and so did their wedding.

Gungun was having a good time with everyone, as being engrossed in other thoughts and being around positive people didn't allowed her to think about the unnecessary thoughts or rather about last night to be precise.

It was night, when finally Gungun had completed the post wedding rituals, as she hugged her Bu and her father, crying her heart out during the vidai.

After a tiresome journey, Gungun and the Kulshresths reached Saraswati Nivas, as they conducted Gungun's Grihapravesh, as Gungun entered inside with a wide smile on her face.

Everyone blessed the newly wedded couple, as the elders had departed for their rooms, as it was the youngsters and Golu's turn to tease both of them, as Neeti, Chavvi and Khushi took Gungun with her to the room, as they were having good time teasing her as what felt like any eternity to Gungun, they left as she was alone in the room.

Whereas Golu, Yug and Ankit were with Anubhav and we're doing the next level teasing session when he found his sisters and Neeti bhabhi out of his room, making him frown.

"Ab aap log mujhe shaanti se andar jaane dengi ki nahi?" questioned Anubhav, being tired of their endless teasings.

Whereas Neeti took the chance as she said teasingly, "Andar jaane ki bohot jaldi hai tumhe?"

Anubhav sighed looking at her as he snapped back, "Thik hai, aao log yahaan rahiye, main hall main sojata hoon "

Saying so, Anubhav pretended to leave, but was soon pushed inside by all of them, as they locked the door from inside.

Yug who was locking the door from outside said, "Ab yeh darwaza kal subah hi khulega."

Outside the room, everyone was now tired as they left from there within seconds, and departed to their rooms, with satisfactory smiles on their faces.

Whereas inside the room, Anubhav's eyes wandered around, as he found the room empty, making him tensed for a moment but then the shower voice reached his ears, as he sighed.
