Entrance Exam

The next day I went to the entrance exam with Eevee and his pack in the alpha formation. I didn't really know what to expect since it was an exam but it was a world filled with monster and everything. Needless to say that I didn't quite know what comon sense is here. So I thought I didn't need anything to go to the entrance exam.

This was how I was with a couple of people standing clearly in an old test area and some had staffs others bows and a couple of them had swords and all of the sudden I felt as if I forgot something. Well it was not as if I had something to begin with anyways.

Man: Hello everyone, I am here to test out all your skills. First off Magical aptitude. Everyone here that signed up a magic skill please go forth.

I went forth since I did had a magic skill or more because I was a Sage after all even tho they said that doesn't exist. Well my panel said it does so screw you all! It does exist.

Man: Aren't you a tamer?

Me: I am.

Man: PFf-hahahahaha kid, you shouldn't lie about your skills.

Me: But I am not lying.

Man: Okay, sure. Go ahead and show me a magic spell.

Me: Which one?

Man: It isn't important. You see the rock over there?

Me: Yes?

Man: Just hit it as hard as-

Before he finished saying what he was saying I fired a fire ball at him or more like past him but he immediately shut up and looked at me with a dumbfounded face.

Man: WHAT THE FUCK!

Me: I am sorry.

Man: No! What did you jsut do?

Me: Fire a fire ball?

Man: How?

Me: Like this!

I fired another fire ball behind the man and once again he nearly attacked me for it.

Man: WHAT THE FUCK! HOW?! 

Me: Huh?

Man: Where is the incantation?

Me: You need an incatnation for that?

Man: Yes, otherwise the spell is weakened.

Me: Ohhh! FIRE BALL!

Once again I hit the rock with a fire ball but this time the rock exploded completly.

Man: THE FUCKING HELL YOU DOING?!

Me: Wasn't it too weak the first time. You just told me to use an incantation.

Man: That's not what I meant.

Me: Huh?

Man: Just let it be, you pass.

Me: Thanks....

What's wrong with him?

As I thought....

My magical skilly are just average if not too weak.

I can't even do incantation right.

Ohh wait!

Should I have needed a staff?

Welp!

Now it's to late to change anything.

I watched the others use staff and hit another rock and just thought that I did something wrong. It looked different the way they did it and now I was thinking that it was only normal for the man to scold me for doing everything wrong but I couldn't have known the right way.

Little did I know that this wasn't the reason he was actually screaming at me this way.

Man: Okay, fighter, tanker and tamer. Now we will go into the combat exam. Attack me however you want.

One by one people started attacking the man and they all failed to get him down but apparently they didn'T had to since the goal was only to show a certain amount of skill here. I was sure to nail that one because I actually started training for becoming a hero but the only thing that worried me was that everyone used some kind of weapon and I didn't had one.

Man: Tamer, your turn.

Me: Do I need to have a dagger or a sword?

Man: Don't tell me you don't have one?

Me: No...

I looked at the pannel with my skills on it since I didn't had a sword and I wanted to know if there was a skill helping me to creat one and indeed there was one.

Man: You really are hopeless.

Me: Sorry. Will this do?

I used the skill and summoned a sword it was labeled as the dark soul sword but I didn't care at all and so once I sommed it, I looked at the man again and he once again looked at me bamboozeled.

Man: Where the fuck did you get that one?

Me: Summoned it.

Man: Summoned?

Me: Yup.

Man: That isn't even possible!

Me: But I just did....

Man: you know, just attack me.

Me: Ahm.... sure.

Now I had a new problem. I have no clue how to swing a damn sword and so I thought since this was a world like a game maybe there was a skill like this. Indeed I was correct there was a skill named Combat+ and one with Highsense+ as well as SpeedBuff. Well I activated everything and started to hold the sword clumsily as I didn't know how to hold it else.

Man: You ready.

Me: Yup.

Man: Go.

The moment he said go, he was alread laying on the ground and I just looked at him. This skill was indeed pretty handy and I would for sure use it in case I face any danger at all.

Man: THE HELL!

Me: Sorry, you okay?

MAn: You know how to use the swrod this well? Why didn't you say that eralier?

Me: I didn't. This is my first time holding a sword.

Man: Unbelieveable.

Me: We can make a redo if you want.

Man: Yes, let's do that.

We did a redo and this man landed once again on the ground this time kneeling in front of me, with his own sword stuck to the ground behind me and I had my sword underneath his chin.

Man: Are you sure, you are human?

Me: Last time I checked, yes.

Man: The fuck?!  Anyways with your skill promote you to Rank E instead of F.

Me: Thanks.

Man: Now everyone who passed come back tomorrow and you will get your guild cards that autorise you to take up guild quest. 

Just like that the day went to an end and I was pretty happy I actually found a solution for my money problem because now I could just simply take up quests and don't need to worry about an empty stomach or a housing anymore.
