Chapter 20

3rd Pov (December 26)

Katsuki's heading home today. His mother has got the bag and his father is pulling up the car. Katsuki holds onto Hikaru as they walk to the car. He's wearing a hoodie with a big hood covering his face from others.

BK: Is the nursery set up?

BMit: Yeah. During his first few months, he should sleep in the crib. When he's not so delicate, it would probably be okay if he slept in your nest sometimes. We already hired someone to set up the smart room and she left instructions on how to use it.

BK: How reliable is she?

They enter the Chevrolet Suburban car and set Hikaru up securely into the car seat.

BMit: She has a techy quirk. When I checked her files as a possible employee, it said that she could connect any device together if they had some tech in it. She set it up so you could control everything with a table or with voice recognition. We just need to set up our voices with it.

BK: Alright.

BMas: Since it's December, I thought that we could eat some soup. I already started making it since it takes a while. I remember in Spain that they had a "sopa de carne". It has lots of vegetables, meat, and you can add rice into it. You need the protein.

BK: Sounds good.

Katsuki turns to face Hikaru and sees him sleeping soundly. Mitsuki decides to put on some low music and talks quietly to Masaru. The ride was peaceful and Katsuki almost fell asleep. There was a lot to do and a lot to think about.

Mitsuki only says one thing to Masaru.

BMit: I'll do the tests today while Katsuki's alseep. I'll also make sure to pay extra for them to hurry it up.

BMas: Alright.

+With Class 1-A (the day before)+

Since the hero courses have been doing their internships, they haven't really had the time to even think about their friends too much so even their concerns for Bakugo were in the back of their minds.

It's been tough the past couple of months. Class 1-A created a pack and have been closer than ever. Due to the stress, they've been having designated days for class scenting, cuddling, and overall just being their together.

With the help of Uraraka, Hagakure, and Yaoyarozu, they made a big nest that fits all of them. Yaoyarozu made the softest blankets while Hagakure and Uraraka built it.

Overall, the class was satisfied. Sometimes they'd question why Kirishima or Todoroki would leave sometimes, but they never really investigated.

But that was when it was only a 2 times a week occurrence. Now for the past 2 days, he's been practically gone. Nobody knew for what except the Bakusquad + TodoDeku. People were getting curious, but never confronted them about it.

The 6 of them all left early morning and promised to be back after an hour or two. The rest found it suspicious. But, they carried on making the Christmas decorations and getting their presents under the Christmas tree they put up. The class all chipped in on making the dinner and getting everyone to wear Christmas hats and ugly sweaters.

Once they came back, they were either in a happy mood, or a pondering one. Who was the father? What quirk will he have? Will he look and act more like Katsuki in the future? Why did he game similar features of a Todoroki?

But that didn't matter now. Right at that moment, they were helping the rest of their class with the decorations and getting into the festive mood. Class 1-B joined them as well and helped make the hotpot.
