Chapter 23

December 20 (Hikaru: Almost a year old)

Flashback

Nobody really knows what happened to Bakugo. All he told anyone was that he was taken advantage of. He never told anyone how Dabi destroyed the last ounce of hope he had. During the third day, Katsuki found himself cleaned and healed of all wounds. He was on a bed instead of on the cold floor.

Of course he was still restrained, but he had an oversized t-shirt on. The bed he was strapped to was saturated with Dabi's scent. There was a tray of food idly sitting near him. It looked like it was still warm too.

Bakugo turned his head to see Dabi entering the room.

Dabi: So you're awake

He walked over to the panicking omega and sat near him.

Dabi: Eat this. You need your strength.

The alpha says. He grabs the utensils and begins to try to feed the omega. Keyword tries. Katsuki refuses the food, so Dabi commands him to eat.

With a trembling body, Katsuki opens his mouth and slowly beings to chew the food given to him.

Dabi: I'm doing this so you won't die on us, if that's what you're wondering.

BK: I don't give a shit if I die. Just kill me and be done with it already. You already know I won't join you shitheads, so just end it.

Bakugo says with distant eyes.

Dabi: Can't. We still have some use for you Omega. After I'm done with you, you'll be sent to the doctor for his experiments. Then you'll wish you'd join us when you had the chance. A pretty Omega like yourself being disfigured and chopped up to make more nomu's after he runs his tests would just be a sad ending. He'll be here for you in about four more days.

Bakugo's lips quiver at the new piece of information. Still, he wouldn't budge.

BK: Like i care.

Dabi: Well, while you're still pretty, I'll be sure to indulge myself before he gets the chance.

And with that, everything repeated again. Before the doctor could retrieve him, the blond was already saved with his pride and self worth in tatters.

BMit: Let's go to the aquarium.

Katsuki jolts at the new information.

BK: Why the fuck do we have to?

He says with an attitude.

BMit: Oh shut it! It's because Hikaru is growing up. He needs the stimulation. It's better to see things in person. I already got everything we need.

BK: So you just decided this without my permission!?

BMit: Think about it! The only time you actually leave the house is to either go to school or the company. Then you come straight home. You barely go out to hang out with your friends. You always hang out here.

BK: Well if you were in my position, then you would too!

BMit: That's why we're going. For now, the only alpha's that you remotely trust are only 3, including myself and your father. One of those is Kirishima. Todoroki and Izuku barely count.

BK: Tch.

BMit: You still let him around you which I guess is an improvement.

BK: It doesn't even matter anyways because I'm fucking okay.

BMit: Whatever you say. We're still going though. For at least an hour. Think of it as exposure therapy

BK: ...Tch. Fine. You're being such an ass.
