The reckoning

Elena Gilbert,she was special to my family. She was there when our father left us, she was mostly there for Caroline I wasn't as close to her cause I always thought she was an annoying preppy girl. She was there when I wasn't when Caroline was in transition and other things that would take forever to list. Then she died. Or so I thought

She's alive. Elena freaking Gilbert is alive and well in mystic falls and she's the reason Klaus can't make his hybrids and the secret that Stefan has been keeping all summer

I was told to stay at the truck with Rebekah until Stefan wakes up. Klaus is somewhere in town waiting to make a dramatic entrance. And the scooby doo gang is at the school pulling off senior prank night.

"You really didn't know" Rebekah asks breaking me from my thoughts

"What" confusion present on my face

"About the doppelgänger still being alive. You didn't know" she ask again

"The night of the ritual was on a full moon I was in transition. By the time I was back to my human form it was over and I was stuck in a apartment waiting for Klaus. So no I didn't know she was alive and Stefan did not tell me."

"Okay" there's a beat of silence "I'm glad you didn't know. It proves that you weren't lying to me like Stefan was. That your actually somewhat of a friend" she admits

"Yeah a friend" i mumble

Klaus p.o.v.

Betrayal anger and a feeling I can't quite place my tongue on is coursing threw my veins. Two of those feelings are caused by Stefan Salvatore. The last one is caused by non other than Alkina Forbes

Ever since I've meet her seen her actually there's a feeling in my chest that has been coming and going. The past few hours I've been feeling intense anger it started when I found Alkina crying in the wearhouse.

When I saw her with tears running down her face and her eyes puffy I wanted to burn the whole world down. I wanted to find whoever did that to her and make them beg for mercy. Sadly I didn't get that chance saying she was able to stop me from going after that thing she called a boyfriend

Walking through mystic falls high I'm looking for the one and only Elena Gilbert. She survived the sacrifice that I had to wait hundreds of years to do. I will do anything to make sure I can make my hybrids even if it means killing everyone in this bloody town

I go to wear I hear voices and wait for her to walk through the doors

"Klaus" she gasp when she see me

"There's my girl" putting on a reveling smirk she tries to run i counter her moving back in front of her

"Your supposed to be dead" i seethe anger evident in my voice "what are we gonna do about that" she shudders in fear only bringing a smile to my face

Alkinas pov

Me and Rebekah have been sitting her for a while waiting for Stefan to wake up.

Speak of the devil i mumble when Stefan gasp awake jolting up in confusion "oh he lives" Bekah jokes

"What happened"

"You took a beating. My brothers been breaking your neck all afternoon. Quite the temper" she teases with a pout

"Why did he bring us back to mystic falls?" He try's to play dumb

"You can stop playing dumb now. It didn't take him long to figure out what you've been hiding"
