waking up to an alarm clock on a monday has never been my favorite thing, i think everyone hates monday. getting ready for school the month of prom is pure anxiety, getting ready during that month is filled with 'what if someone asks me to prom i have to look good' and i absolutely hate it.
me and my friends are going dress shopping tonight which is terrifying.
i laid in bed for a while thinking about everything possible. at least 5 guys have asked me to go to prom with them, i told all of them that id let them know when i had an answer.
i really don't want anyone to like give a big promposal because i don't want the attention and i don't feel like it's very necessary.
i got out of bed, my bare feet hitting the cold wood floor. i walked into my bathroom and began doing my morning routine, once i was finished i walked into my closet going to find an outfit.
i picked some jeans and a plain t shit out with nike blazers, before strutting down the stairs, grabbing my keys, and going to get into my car.
i was pulling out of my parking lot before i got a call, i answered it pulling out of my parking lot.
"what's up" i spoke putting my seat belt on
"i need you to come pick me up, jayla won't wake up" jaden spoke through the phone
"alright i'll be there soon" i spoke before hanging up
i rerouted my drive to go towards jadens house.
i pulled down his street hitting his contact sending a quick text.
i'm outside
*read 7:15*
as soon as i sent the message i saw jaden stepping out of the door, walking towards my car.
"hey bri" he smiled plugging his phone into my aux
"what's poppin" i laughed at my self
"what's poppin?" he questioned with a chuckle
"yeah what's poppin" i said grabbing his phone turning on our playlist
"i need some advice" he said looking at me
"yeah what's up" i turned the music down so i could hear him clearly
"um i was wondering if you think asking emma to prom would be weird, because like i just think i want to ask her" he said running his hands through his hair
instantly my heart dropped, i was hoping he'd ask me. we're not together or anything but we never do anything without eachother "um that's up to you" i said with an awkward laugh
"i think i will at lunch" he smiled
i just turnt the music up trying to drown out any thoughts that we're gonna come my way and continued my drive.
we pulled up to the building and i put the car in park quickly getting out walking to find my friends.
"bri" jaden said
i stopped and looked back at him "what's up"
"we always walk in together what's ur rush" he asked putting his arm around my shoulder
"im just trying to find cora" i said grabbing his hand
"well let's find her together" he smiles at me as we continued to walk down the halls
