Adore You-Jasper Hale

Seventeen

Willow never understood why Alice wanted to throw a party. Especially a birthday where there is only one human who is expected to eat cake.  Something about today has Willow thinking that everything will change. Feeling arms go around her, Willow looked at her mate smiling. "Darlin', you're up here and I'm worried."

"Just thinking is all."

"About?"

Willow smiled. "I'm worried about this party. Bella is the only human and there will be cake, and let's not forget that she will be in a house full of vampires." She tells him. "I'm just not sure about this."

Jasper tuned her around causing her to sigh as she rested her head on his chest. She don't like the party idea. "How about the two of us ditch..."

"Absolutely not." Alice says. "I want my sister here and besides, nothing won't happen."

Willow watched her sister walk away. "Jasper, I'm tempted for us to leave and be on our own." She tells them. "Just for a bit."

"I wouldn't mind it." He tells her as they all started walking downstairs. "I think the two of us needs a break."

Willow smiled as se couldn't wait to be with him. Alone.

At school, Willow walked out of class causing Jasper to walk up behind her and kiss her head. "Taylor, next time you want to show off your art skill, do it at home." She tells him as he walked out.

"I won't if you don't show off."

Willow glared at her brother in law as he went to Alice. She looked at Jasper who held his hands up before putting the plan into action. Willow put her arms around Jasper as he used his gift on Bella. Seeing that she changed her mind had Willow laughing. "Not fair." Bella says. "Don't change my emotions."

"Well, it was the only way to get my sister to stop pestering us." She tells her. "Enjoy today since you are so worried about being like us."

Edward sighed as he knew Willow was right. Jasper walked after his mate as Bella stood flabbergasted. "Why didn't you say anything?" She asked Edward.

"Because she's right." He tells her. "You have been asking nonstop to turn you. Today is your eighteenth birthday, but yet, you can't at least be a little excited for today. You are still human. You have rights to enjoy it."

Bella stared in shock that Edward thought that of her. She wasn't happy about today as she wasn't forever eighteen and now her own vampire boyfriend wasn't going to turn her. He wants her to act more human. "Why is it so hard for him to accept what I want?"

Alice didn't say anything as she walked away with Taylor.

Sometime that day, Willow stared at her dress as she really didn't want to go to this party. Jasper looked at Willow as he walked in and put his arms around her. "Ready?"

"I guess." She tells him.

"I'll be right there with you." He tells her.

Willow nodded as she thought of the first time Jasper smelt blood after being on animal blood for awhile, she kissed him to distract him. She just hopes nothing like that happens, because she knows that the others thirst for Bella's blood. Willow grabbed Jasper's hand causing him to look at her. She smiled a bit making him nod as he understood. She's worried.

Jasper held Willow as the party started. Present after present and Willow thought that maybe she overreacted. That's till Bella showed her the paper cut on her finger. She felt Jasper moving her just for her to turn quickly and kiss him. Bella watched as Emmett and Carlisle let him go as Jasper left with Willow in his arms. "It worked once again." Taylor says. "She's a fast thinker."

"She knew this was going to happen. Willow may be able to see the past, but she knows when something is going to happen." Rosalie tells them. "She'll defend her mate."

Edward looked at Bella as she didn't know what to think. He threw her to protect her just for Willow to act fast.

Jasper held Willow against the tree as the kiss became heated. Willow pulled back and looked at him. "You felt their hunger." She tells him. "But I'll always make sure you never feel guilty."

"I love you so much, darlin'."

"I love you too, but you are going to finish what we just started."

"My pleasure."

Willow kissed him as she wrapped her legs around him. They weren't heading back at the moment as Jasper wanted to be left alone with Willow Cullen.
