I was staying with my best friend at the time Kay Kay. We were always together. Our moms worked together plus we lived on the same street. I remember waking up to her mom yelling and when I rolled over I was in bed alone. I herd rnninging up the stairs and ms Samantha picked me up and put me in Kay's closet with her phone and told me to call 911 and to not come out no matter what. By now I was crying and shaking. She kissed me on my forehead and left. I called 911 like she said and told them I bird yelling. I couldn't remember the address but I told her my street name and what the house looked like next thing I know I hear kay yell and I started crying more. After a few minutes of her yelling stopping I hear someone running up the stairs then a loud bang noise 5 times. Everything got quiet and the lady on the phones asked if I heard anyone at the same time I hear sirens she got off the phone saying the cops where there and me telling her what room I was in. About 5 min later the door is opened and an older guy gets me out and hides my face as we walk down stairs. Hr tells me to close my eyes till were out side. Once outside I hear a lot of noise and I hear my mom yelling my name. I open my eyes and see her running to me as the cops let her by I reach for her till the cop hands me over. He asked her if its okay for someone to ask me a few questions and she's asks if f I would like to answer some questions. I was hesitant at first but I did it.

I think about that night often. He beat Kay when she got up to get a drink, that's when her mom came in to hide me. The yelling was them fighting until he her her and brought Kayla to the living room and raped her. Hense Kayla yelling and as her mom tryes to run upstairs he shot her in her leg and finished rapibg Kayla then killed her and left. The cops found his 2 days later in an abandoned warehouse. Word around town was he was a kingpin and it was one of there hideouts. That was never confirmed tho. He took a plea deal and gave up a few names of people for things and helped with other stuff he ender up getting 30 with chance of parolee in 15 for good behaver and if he helped them with taking down others. Of course he agreed. 1 month makes 15 years. All that took place in NY after we moves to Fl as of now however I stay in NC with my mom. I just moved here a month ago. Her new boyfriend helped me get a job at the local dinner his best friend owns. I like it here its fun. I actually just arrived at the dinner and my shift starts in 10. I sit and talk to my friend kaylie for a bit before we both clock in....

Were been here 8 hrs and we only got one left when a huge group of guys cone in. There split up sitting at 2 tables ever to there both mine I five one to kaylie BC bi one else is here but an elderly couple in serving also. I walk over to the 1 tabel and let them know there server will be there in a minute as I was to the next. "Hey im sky ill be yalls waiter today What can I get y'all to drink" I say "water water coke sweet tea" "okay do y'all know what you want or do you need a moment?" " were just Hanna have double chedder bacon burgers all around ma'am" one says at the same time I look up into these beautiful blue green eyes of a dread head. Lord have mercy.... I'm not much on dread heads but this boy... Who.... Works can't describe him lord Jesus lol. I blush a Lil " alright I'll go put that in and get your drinks" I say and walk off while dude smiles at me. . lord that smile too ughh!!!! Once I get there drinks over to the I go sit wit kaylie and notice she's a little figetty.... " what's up with you?" "I know your new around here and all but those guys are in a gang. Most ruthless gang out there actually. The one with the dreads and pretty eyes his dads the one in charge and soon it will go down to him. All the boys over there work for his dad. I just look over at them. They don't looks mean. But never judge a book by its cover. After a few more minutes my tables food is done and most need a refill after I give them there food and fill there cups I ask if there's and thing else they need they all shake there heads and finish up. I notice the cute one gets a call and they all leave I was about to say something about them not paying till the cute one comes back and drops some money on the table and leaves I walk over and see 2 $100 sitting there that's more then enough for the bill for both table and a huge tip for us to split. Mr Davis walks out and starts getting things ready to close up. Aster cleaning everything and making sure everything is ready for tomorrow we all walk out the door. I wanted to walk home instead of riding with Kay half way there I hear something and walk faster as I urn the corner I see a group of guys and one shoots another one I stop walking and just stare and one of them turns around and sees me. It was the same one that shoot the gun. I slowly back up and run home another way while I hear someone yell go and a car start up. I get home and shut and lock my door as I look outside I see a car stopped in front of my house. My mom comes down and checks on me I tell her I'm fine that I was just tired and went to bed. Needless to say I didn't sleep well that night.
