The next day
I decided to make my way to the mall and get August something cause I just want to get him something. I walked into a store and started looking at some watches and chains.

"May I help you with something ma'am" The stores employee asked me

"Um yea I want to find a really nice watch and a chain"

"Is it for you or for someone else?" He asked

"It's for my boyfriend"

"Oh well um come over here"

"Okay" I followed him

"What do you think of this"

"Well hmm you put it on for a second" I said trying to see how it'd look on a guy

He put it on and said some things about it

"Do you like it on you?"

"Not really my kinda style but I don't know your boyfriend"

"True well let me see that one"

I pointed to one in the glass case it was silver and big and it had diamonds around the frame and it kinda reminded me of the ring on my finger.

"This one with the diamonds" He said taking it out

"Yeaaaaa that one put it on"

"Okay expensive taste huh wow"

"You like it"

"Yea do you see this thing"

"Yes good great I'm getting it. Now a simple chain"

"Wait don't you wanna know the price of the watch"

"No tell me when I get the chain I don't care how much it is yet"

"Okayyyyy let's go to the chains then"

We walked over and started looking at the chains.

"Ok so you want one like the watch right"

"No I want it to be very simple just a plain silver chain those ones that look really nice but are still plain"

"Okay like these" He pointed down at some

"Yea just like those let me get the regular sized one"

"This" He took one out"

"Yup now I want a diamond stud earrings and a gold hoop earrings"

"Okay now to the women's section come on" We walked over

"Ooh that one and that one" I smiled

"Okay so is that all" He smiled back at me

"Yea I'm already giving yall too much of my money"

"Yea that watch and those earrings ain't no joke"

"It's whatever I want them"

"I need me a girl like you who got her own money and don't need a man to buy her everything"

"You'll find one" I walked to the register.

August's POV
So Madi was a little upset yesterday and she told me she wanted some earrings so I'm in the mall getting her these earrings. I walked in the jewelry store and I was looking around and I see none other than...

"Baby" I walked up to her and kissed her "What you doing here"

"I told you I wanted an earrings so I'm getting some earrings"
