Chapter 3

Chapter 3 *******************************

So August took me to his place and sure enough it was big to and there were so many pictures of him all over with his cocky ass LML

"Why you got so many pictures of yourself"

"I like your house" He said completely ignoring what I'd just said and sitting on the couch

"Thanks I'm liking yours too who you live here with"

"Its just me at the moment"

"Oh well where's your mom"

"Back home"

"So you just here by yourself"

"At the moment" he turned on the TV and started eating "and I like my face"

"Okay" I laughed

"Come sit and eat aren't you hungry"

"Oh yea for sure" I said sitting on the chair next to the couch

"I meant next to me"

"Its know" I said taking out a box of chicken and fries then eating

"You were so outgoing like an hour ago now you acting all shy"

"Whoops"

"I'm not the type of person you gotta be scared of"

"Ok"

"So how long you been in Cali"

"Um" I looked at my watch "About 5 hours"

"For real"

"Yup"

"Well where you moved here from"

"New York"

"That's where that style and accent are from"

I just smiled and ate some fries

"So what you came for anything special"

"Nope" I said lying cause I don't want to tell him all my business "So what do you do"

"I-I'm a not doing anything really at the moment"

He sounded like he wasn't sure if he should've told me that. Either that or he was lying, but I could care less since I lied too

"Okay do you just chilling that's cool. Must be relaxing being able to take a break"

"Yea it's nice"

We finished eating and we spoke for a while and got to know each other and he took me back home afterwards. I had a pretty nice first day here I hope it stays like this...
I had a pretty long day si when I got home I took a snack then went to shower and brush my teeth and stuff then bed.

Ring ring ring
The last thing I need right now is people calling me so imma just ignore it
Ding ding ding
So now they gonna text me right...I'm still not answering I said to myself slowly drifting off to sleep.

The next day

I woke up at 1:00 in the afternoon and checked my phone and saw it was none other than the dude from yesterday. It was just calls and texts asking why I wasn't answering and goodnight beautiful stuff like that. I just texted back good morning and went on to do my hygiene then ate brunch. I went back to my room and we texted

August: It's 1 I'm the afternoon how you say good morning...Good afternoon and thanks for ignoring me last night.

August: So you just gonna ignore me again ok I see how it is

Madi: I went to sleep last night and I didn't wanna be bothered with people...and when I woke up it was 1 so it's morning to me since I'd just woke up and I went to eat after I texted you so I'm not replying till now.

August: Oh well what we doing today

Madi: Idk about you but I have unpacking to do

August: I can help

Madi: Who said you could come in my house I barely know you

August: What could I do

Madi: Idk you could want something I don't know you

August: Smh Madi what am I gonna steal your panties

Madi: Maybe idk

August: But I've been in your house before and you've been in mine

Madi: Yea but that was different

August: Okay so how long until I can come in your house...like other than the kitchen

Madi: Umm maybe like 3 months

August: WHAT???

Madi: Maybe 2 if I like you...you acting like that's a long time it'll fly right by if you don't think about it

August: Ok no problem fine I can do that, but you can come over right

Madi: Nope ttyl

August: Yea ok

I started unpacking and putting my things into closets and drawers and shelves. A couple hours later I was finished and hungry.

"Imma order a pizza"

I went online and got a half cheese and half pepperoni pizza with 8 hot wings from Papa Johns...while I waited I decided to sign up for some online college courses since I only had my 2 year degree. A little over half an hour later my food came and went to the door.

"Who you going to the door for" Nathan asked me when he heard the bell

"Don't worry about it go back in the kitchen" I said trying to get rid of him "Hi" I said to the guy

"H-hi umm your total is is um it's uh" He stuttered

"You good I know how much it is" I said paying him and tipping him

"Um here you go" He handed me the boxes

"Thanks" I said closing the door

"Wait miss" He stopped me "Um your just really pretty sorry for the stuttering and stuff"

"Don't sweat it and thank you" I said closing the door

I went to the kitchen just to see Nathan there waiting on me to walk in at least that's what it looked like.

"Oh so that's who was at the door"

"Yup" I said he tying a plate and taking two slices one of each and two wings

"You shouldn't eat that junk" Nathan said obviously said wanting more for himself getting a plate

"But your eating it too, and who said I was buying for you"

"I'm family what's yours is mine"

"I'll remember that when I wanna use your car"

"That's fine I kinda wanted to borrow the Benz anyway"

I just laughed and my parents came down and ate as well. We talked about how we liked the place and how we were adjusting to the area and we were good.
After eating it was kinda late so I went and showered and stuff and texted my best friend from Brooklyn. I told her about August but I didn't say his name then knocked out on my bed.

Yea I know boring chapter next one will hopefully be more interesting but idk what to write yet so bare with me.
