Charlotte sat in the gallery as she sat watching Meredith in heart surgery as George sat next to her and smiled
"you okay you were gone early" George said as Charlotte smiled
"yeah I had to be somewhere" Charlotte said
"I wish I could hold a heart" George said
"A monkey could hold a heart" cristina said
"yeah where's alex when you need him" Charlotte said
"You're mad Burke didn't ask you" George said to Cristina
"George, I need more ice and chips" Izzie said
"Who else did you invite?" George asked
"Izzie, we said the list was jocks only. Surgery, Trauma, Plastics. Who else?" Cristina said
"Just some people from Peds. Cristina: You invited the preschoolers to Meredith's house. The next thing you'll say is you invited the shrinks" cristina said as Izzie looks away
"She invited mental defects. This party's D.O.A" Cristina said
"You know, Meredith thinks this is just going to be a little, small, meet-your-boyfriend cocktail thing. Did you clear this with her?" George asked
"I doubt she did. Meredith is going to kill you" Charlotte said as izzie rolled her eyes at her
Charlotte knew izzie didn't respect her and it annoyed her.
"No, but I will" izzie said George and Cristina give her a look
"I promise" Izzie said as Charlotte shot her a glared
"Why are you wasting the only weekend your boyfriend is in town on a big party? Is he bad in bed?" Cristina asked
"must be" Charlotte said
"No. I just want him to meet some of my friends" Izzie said as Charlotte scoffed
"Right. Sixty geeks in scrubs are your friends" cristina said as Her beeper goes off. She gets up to leave
"Bad sex, sucks for you" Charlotte said
"I heard there was a party tonight at Meredith's house" alex said as he walked in
"Oh really, party?" Charlotte asked
"Uh, news to me" Izzie said "No party" George said
"No idea what your talking about" Charlotte said
"Are we losing her or what?" Alex asked as he looked to the patient on the table

Charlotte stood out in the hallway as she waited for Meredith to come out of surgery as she saw Derek
"I heard Meredith had her first shot of heart surgery as you jealous" he asked
"not really if it would if been a general case then that's a different matter"
"oh I know a top neuro surgeon great guy, nice hair great in bed. I'm sure he could tempt you to neuro" Derek said as he grabbed her waist and pulled her aside and kissed her.
