Chapter 7/8

Michael's POV
(Warning! This scene contains graphic content; car crash!)

"-hit me mother fucker, I'm open!" she screamed, running out of the hotel room.
"Mia!" I yelled.
I ran out and followed her.
She ran out onto the pavement until she tried to cross the road.
"Mia!!!" I screamed.
She ran and just as I was about to grab her wrist...
A car slammed into her.
I starred at the scene before me.
"MIA!!" I shrieked.
I ran towards the wreck.
The car had flipped and was now just a twisted heap of metal with blood covering the windshield.
But that's not what I was worrying about.
"Mia!" I called.
No one answered.
I ran in the direction that she flew when the car sent her flying.
What I found though... I would die to have it erased from my head.
Her body lay a mangled mess of blood flesh and bones.
Her neck sat at an odd angle bone breaking through the flesh and one of her arms was hanging by a thread. Blood soaked her entire body and the ground around her. One of her legs had broken so that instead of bending forward, like it should... it bent back with the bone piercing through the skin. Ribs poked out of her chest and her skull had caved slightly.
I choked and gaged.
She was dead.
"Michael!" someone called.
Ashton ran up to me and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw what I was starring at.
He turned around and did what I wanted to do.
He threw up.
Don't ask why I wanted to, I just didn't want anything in my stomach at the moment.
Throwing up would show me that I still have some ability to be human after seeing this. That I am awake.
But I didn't. I just starred at the girl I loved and had held only hours before... this.
Blood still flowed from her, but that didn't stop me from bending down and crying into her.
I didn't touch her body, I just caressed her face softly.
Blood covered me now but I hardly noticed.
This was one of the worst ways to die.
Someone gripped my shoulders and I turned to see Mia's friend Lara standing there.
"It's okay."
Right now, I felt like breaking anyone that said 'its okay' because it's not.
Mia will never see another sunset, never... I sobbed even harder as I pulled out a velvet case.

She will never marry me.

I choked and I heard Lara gasp.
"You were going to propose?" she asked, tears trailing down her face. I nodded.
In the distance I heard sirens.
That's when I heard her scream.
"MAKE IT STOP!!!"
MIA!
I looked at the mangled body in front of me...
And saw it move.
The body twisted and flesh moved and blood sprayed.
I got up.
Spun around.
And that's when I puked.

Chapter 8

Michael POV

Mia was in so much pain.
I was crying as they strapped her to a stretcher, causing her to scream in horror.
God. She literally thought someone was trying to kill her.
I sat in the ambulance, not wanting to leave Mia and I listened to her scream the entire way to the Brisbane hospital.
(Sorry, but yes there in Brisbane because the meeting for the opening tour was in Brisbane, sorry)
We entered the hospital.
And they made me wait.
"I need to be with her!" I screamed.
"Sir, your going to have to calm down, please, people are trying to sleep," some lady said.
"Calm down?" I argued. "I can't just calm down! My girlfriend is in there and is dying! I need to be with her!"
"Dude," Luke said. "Just listen to the nurse, please?"
Defeated, I slid down a wall and spent the next 9 hours crying, when a doctor came out.
It was about 3:30 pm when we came so it was now about 12:30 am.
"She's going to be okay," he said. "We honestly don't even know how she survived. Also, I would be carful with her, she's extremely shaken and jumpy."
My head snapped up.
"Can I see her?"
The doctor shook his head.
"For the first 6 hours its usually family only."
I shook my head and laughed sarcastically.
"Doc, she doesn't have any family," Luke said.
The doctor looked at us with surprise.
"She's an orphan," I added.
The doctor laughed.
"But her dad works at this hospital," the doctor said.
"What?" I asked. "Who is this guy?"
The doctor raised an eyebrow.
"Why?" he asked.
"Because who ever this guy is, he needs someone to tell him how god damn broken Mia is because of his 'death'." I said making air quotations.
"Well, if you must know, I'm her father."
