Chapter Three.

3•|Hello brother

Her ginger hair fell down her face as she sat down at the reception of the hospital.Her head throbbed with questions.

What if she dies?

How would life without her sister,the only one she loved so much be like?

Tears rolled down her cheeks.She rose her head up to find the doctor that attended to her sister approaching them.

She watched as her parents rushed towards him, asking about the current situation of their second daughter.

She sat far off,so she couldn't hear them properly or maybe she didn't want to hear them.

She saw her mother break down in tears,her father doing his best to comfort his wife.He was in much pain,she could tell but she knew he had to look and act strong.

It had finally happened.She cried bitterly.She knew the cause of her sister's death.Her sister had written it in her dairy.

Now she swore to repay every last one of them responsible for her lovely sister's death.They will all pay for their transgressions and the debt would be paid in blood.

Present day

The drive home was long and not peaceful.Her father was not a chatty person but anytime he was around his children,he was a completely different person.That was what Savannah and Ares loved about him;his transition from the stoic business man he was to the chatty nosey father.

Savannah walked into the mansion and immediately was surrounded by the help offering to take her bags.

Ridding herself of her luggage,she took the elevator heading for the fourth floor,where her brother's room was situated.

She got out on the fourth floor and went down the hall until she came to his room door.She knocked softly awaiting a response.
Then again until the door knob twisted.

Savannah shrieked on seeing him.She hugged him tightly which caught him unawares.He wrapped his arms around her anyways.

"Hey baby sister."

She pulled away from him giving him  a playful swat on his arm.Savannah hated when he did this.They were twins and of the same age.Just because he was born into this world a few minutes before her doesn't count to be called the little one.

"Idiot."she muttered.She walked into his room and flopped into his bed.

"How was your trip?"He asked closing the door and taking a seat on his bed right next to Savannah's lazy body which had occupied where he had been laying.

"It was okay."she answered looking up to the ceilings.

"How is mum?"

"She's okay."

"Why did you come over all of a sudden?"

"What the hell is wrong with you people?Can't a girl miss her family anymore?"

"Of course it's normal to miss us.We missed you too."

"For reals?"Her tone laced with sarcasm.

He chuckled."Of course we do and despite the question,I'm just curious to why you'd leave Ohio the place you feel is home."

"Home is where your family is."

"Home is also where you have history but I'm sure you have your reasons."

"You idiot!"she exclaimed whilst laughing.Ares did the same.

"I need to feel at home with you and dad.Sydney could be my new home."

"You are never going home?"

"I will.I have to see mum and my friends."

"Yeah,mum."

"You'll come along right?"

"Of course I will.I miss her."

"So what do you have as your welcome package for me.Dinner at your favorite fast food,ice cream or the movies?"she asked changing the subject.

"How about a party?"

She sat up abruptly."What about dad?"

"Dad is never around.He'll never know."

"Okay I'm in."

"It's a date then,my sweet twin."
