Melissa's POV:

Today is the party and I have been a little worried on what I should wear. I know I won't get out of my clothes but I have had that on my mind all day. I'm at lunch right now and Daniel I talking with Gabby how excited his is. 

Gabby- Yeah I'm happy for you Daniel I just hope..............wait Melissa you okay 

Melissa- What 

Daniel- You okay 

Melissa- Yeah no totally.........I'm freaking out

Gabby- Why

Melissa- Well I've never been to a party ever so I don't know what to expect, what do I wear, I don't know everything about it

Gabby- If its an outfits that your worried about I have something for you already 

Melissa- If its that one birthday present hell no

Gabby- No not that I have a dress you can wear

Melissa- Oh okay 

Daniel- Everyone is nice I won't worry about it. This party is supposed to be fun not a stress event

Boy 1- I heard party count me in where is it at

Daniel- Its a family reunion party 

Boy 1- Oh gross never mind

Melissa- Okay he has to be gay

Gabby- He is

Melissa- Why is he an ass

Gabby- Because his parents are homophobic and he takes his emotions on people. He tries to hit on girls but fails because he is gay

Melissa- Thats sad. I mean I get that I have had a hard life but for your parents not to except who they love that must be horrible

Daniel- God I love you 

Gabby- I know 

Melissa- If Sweet Pea was like that I think I would have been kicked out a long time ago 

Daniel- He wouldn't

Melissa- I know my cousin's bisexual 

We then headed to sex ed. and Beth felt my nerves. She handed me a fidget and I spaced out while playing with it. Gabby nudged me and I looked around hearing the bell ring. I got Daniel's attention and motioned for my inhaler. I was panicking too much that I felt my chest tighten. After Beth gave us the instructions she stepped out with me. 

Beth- You okay 

Melissa- Its safe to say that I'm stressing out about this

Beth- I believe that you will feel right at home 

Melissa- What do you do

Beth- Well I don't worry about the party in general I worry about it. Hey I was going to continue the instruction but if you need you can listen to music if you need to 

Melissa- Okay 

I walked in and put a headphone in. I turned on music it wasn't helping then I turned my cheer music on shuffle and that cleared my head. I managed to pick up what she was saying. I haven't told anyone but I've spent many years learning how to read lips. I gave it away when I was watching her lips while listening to music. I had my arms on the table when I felt a vibration and I looked at Daniel. He mouthed you know how to read lips and I looked shocked because I was caught in the act. I nodded and then he didn't do anything just said cool. The rest of the 2 classes I was just messing with that fidget because during study hall I was using my inhaler a lot. Beth had to take me outside the building to relax and so I can get air. After school to get my mind off it I was helping Beth set up. It was good instead of sitting in my emotions. I can't lift anything heavy because of my knee but then I heard a familiar bark.
