Hermione had just received the photographs Narcissa sent from her week in France, at the Malfoys' vineyard they had in the South of France.
It had been with some reluctance that she'd let them go, but she was busy at the Ministry and didn't want to deprive the children of a little trip with their grandparents. Draco had said that it would be good for the parents to take care of their grandchildren and for them to have nights out for the two of them to date like they hadn't done in a long time.
When she passed, she smiled when saw the photos that Narcissa shared.
The next picture that appeared in her hand was of her daughter in the middle of a tea party and she exploded out laughing – Draco! Please, you have to see this!
That day, Narcissa had taken the camera and was taking pictures around the gardens where her grandchildren were catching some sun.
She'd taken off Scorp riding the mini broom, hiking through the trees as if they were obstacles, yelling at his grandmother to see how he was already able to do those tricks alone without his father's help.
Some photos of flowers, vines, the big house, and when she returned to her granddaughter who was sitting with her dolls preparing a tea party, she almost dropped the camera when she looked at her husband sitting glumly next to a bear teddy bear.
Lyra pretended to fill one of the toy cups and got up to give it to her grandfather with a smile and as she saw her grandmother do when she had guests.
– You're my guest Grandpa: would you like a cookie? – Lyra asked but before he grumbled something, she had already gone to get the cookie jar that she is grandmother had given – We have chocolate cookies! But the mama can't know! We shouldn't eat cookies before dinner...
