The new school year began.

Hermione had barely recovered from war, but going back to Hogwarts made her days better. The carriages with the Thestrals were already waiting for them and began to fill with students.

And there was one of them that seemed to be avoided by most students.

Hermione saw who was sitting there and sighed - I'll share it with Malfoy...

And it looked like she had said she was going to get a lobotomy.

- Ah?

- Impossible

- Don't you know what he did?

- You're worse in the head if you think that...

- It is unacceptable to sit with him...

- He's the Death Eater...

- My Merlin, he will attack you as soon as you get close...

Hermione grabbed her backpack and turned her back on her friends.

The battle had taken everything, less rancor and forgiveness, thought Hermione sadly.

Malfoy, who had been forced to attend his 8th grade, was part of his sentence, was cowering with a book in his hands, but not really reading.

He watched her climb into the carriage and sit in front of him, as she pulled out one of the thousands of books she carried her.No one else got on and the carriage began to make its way toward the castle.

- I got your letter - Hermione began.

Malfoy didn't say anything, he was quite embarrassed and was perhaps the first person who spoke to him kindly.

- As the owl did not wait for my answer – she continued her, as she took a folded sheet from the middle of the book and handed it to him – here is my answer.

Malfoy only grabbed it because she held the paper out, watching him take it. When he opened it, in front of his word "Sorry", Hermione had scrawled "I forgive".

 When looking up, she smiles.
