♡Au: what if the Hargreaves siblings went to high school?
Y/n's pov Today we were getting new students. They are all supposed to be a family. I sat in science class staring out the window. The class door opened and in came the office lady with two students.
"Sorry to interrupt Mr. Lopez but we have new students joining us" the lady said holding out her hand presenting the two students. I looked at them, one was a tall girl with curly hair and dark skin and the other was a slender boy with bright hazel eyes and a smoldering look. I was fixated on the boy, admiring his features.
"Oh that's wonderful! Welcome, what are your names?" "Allison" the girl said with a smile, Mr. Lopez looked at the boy. "Five" the class snickered and giggled at that. Mr. Lopez laughed too, "alright that's funny, now what is your name really?" "Five" the class giggled again but not all loud. The joke was already old and now it was a long pause.
Mr. Lopez went to his new attendance paper and looked. "Oh my, I'm sorry Five I didn't realize that was actually your name." The class murmured not believing it was true. The boy just looked at the teacher and rolled his eyes. "We'll I have a table for you two, just behind the young lady, Y/n! Can you raise your hand to let them know where to sit?" I sat up and raised my hand. The two looked at me and walked over to the desks behind me.
"Alright now let's continue the lesson." Mr. Lopez said turning around and writing something down on the chalk board.
I continued to doze off but when I was finally about to fall asleep I felt a poke on my back. I furrowed my brows and turned around. "Hi! Sorry for disturbing you but do you have a pencil I can borrow?" Allison said. She smiled at me as I turned to my pencil bag and gave her one of my red mechanical pencils. "Thank you" she said whispering and writing down on a paper. I looked to her left at five. He was already looking at me, but immediately looked down at his paper.

After class I walked to my locker. As I walked down the hallway dimly lit with the fluorescent lights I felt a sudden strange feeling. Am I forgetting something? Nah. I stopped at my locker and unlocked the lock. I put my science books in and took out my math books. "Hey! Y/n?" I heard a familiar voice call out for me. I closed my locker and there was Allison smiling with Five behind her. "Here I forgot to give this back to you, thanks again" she said handing me my mechanical pencil. I knew I forgot something.
"What class do you have?" She asked tilting her head. I looked at five who was looking at the ground and the walls of the school, ignoring our conversation. "Math." I said giving my attention back to her. "Oh five has math too, I have English, maybe you can walk him to his class?" She asked turning to her brother. He shot up and gave her a look. Five pulled Allison towards him and whispered something in her ear. The two began arguing in whispers. I just stood there not knowing how to exit this situation until five signed and rolled his eyes. "Okay so that does it. Y/n you can walk five to class. I'll see you later five! Bye y/n!" She said walking down the hall.
I looked at five as he stared at me. "Come on." I said turning around and walking. I heard his footsteps catching up and finally meeting at my side. There was a long pause until, "you don't talk much do you?" He finally said not looking at me. I turned and studied his features. I tilted my head and smirked. "You don't either." He turned and stared back at me. He looked down at my lips, then cheeks, eyes and nose almost like he was trying to solve a puzzle. He chuckled and smirked turning away from me.

"Touché" he said. "So y/n, right?" I nodded. "What do you do for fun?" I raised an eyebrow. What kind of a question is that? "Uhm, we'll I don't really know." I said looking at the floor. "Do you not go out with your friends?" He asked looking at me once again. I shook my head. "I don't have friends, i don't see the need of them." I stated. Five looked at me for a second before saying, "we'll miss loner, looks like you have a friend now." He turned back to look at the hall. "Oh how wonderful my first friend" I said sarcastically. We both laughed.
We stopped at his math class since we had different teachers. "Looks like this is my stop." He said looking up at the room number. I nodded. "Thanks for walking me." I smiled and began walking away. "Y/n!" I turned behind me and saw five. "Would you wanna go get a donut with me after school?" My eyes widened slightly. I saw him smile and my heart started to skip a beat. I laughed and nodded.
