Caitlyn-"Come on!" My sister complained as everyone piled into the car. "If you don't hurry up we are gonna be late." She said crossing her arms. I laugh a little bit before looking up. Today is going well, me and my family are going to Seattle today to celebrate my uncle's birthday. I scoot beside my twin sister in the small Ford car and slam the door beside me. I sigh as I lean against her shoulder sinking into the fabric.
A relaxing feeling washes over me and I fall asleep. Then I suddenly feel like I'm falling. Causing me to open my eyes in a panic. I always found it weird how your dreams can replicate the feeling of falling from a height you've never fell from before.
I sit up in a rush instantly feeling a damp feeling on my jacket. I look around me the feeling of falling vanishing. I blink to see dull yellow walls around me. Weirdly enough the carpet feels moist and smells damp. The florescent lights above me buzz endlessly.
I've never been able to feel this vivid of a dream before, I find it kinda strange.
[Caitlyn believes she is dreaming]
I must be lucid dreaming or something like that. Someone should wake me up soon so for the time being I decide to traverse this dream. I stand up wiping the weird cold wet feeling off of my pants, although it doesn't help any.
I take a closer look at the room I'm in. From where I'm standing it seems to be an office building but its like a maze. There's a short wall in front of me leading me to assume there's more like it behind it. I walk towards it looking around the wall and just as I suspected there was.
Usually any dream I can remember takes place in places I've been in before, I've never been in a place like this before. "What the hell?" I whisper.
[Caitlyn is in a state of confusion.]
