Charlie's POV:

 
it was El's birthday today and she was so excited about it. the plan was to finish school day then come to ivy's house and have a little birthday party for her. not something to big. just our friend group.
"hey guyssss" el said smiling from ear to ear walking towards our table at the cafeteria. "hey birthday girl wassap" i said as she sat next to me and hugged me.
everyone greeted her except paddy. he completely ignored her and continued eating his food. yep he definitely took our advice too far. it's not cool we're going to have to talk to him about it. THE DRAMA. i just know ben loves the drama. el noticed paddy was acting weird but she didn't think much of it.

December 26 2021 7pm: ellie's birthday party.

Leah's pov:

 
el looked gorgeous she was so excited she turned 17. she is the youngest in our friend group. Ben and Charlie are the oldest. then me and then ivy paddy and again the youngest is ellie.
we were all at ivy's house celebrating. at the living room and ben was about to close the basement door.
"yo mate don't close the basement door. if it's closed you're stuck in there." ivy said. we were having fun until the light turned off and everything went dark. there was a storm outside. el went to bring candles from the basement and we made paddy go with her.
and paddy's dumbass closed the fucking basement door.
they were stuck in there.

paddy's pov:

 
"SHIT" i said.
ellie didn't understand what happened she couldn't see anything and i'm pretty sure she was ignoring me.
"sooo... if we're stuck in here... what do you wanna do?" i asked.
"are you fucking kidding me??" she said with disbelief. "so now you're talking to me? when no one is around? did i do something wrong? are you ashamed to be my friend?? have i made you angry??  wtf paddy???" she talked and i could hear her quite crying. "hey no no no you've done nothing wrong. really. i promise. i just-" my words was cut off as the light came back on. i walked towards her and she pushed me away "you know what just forget it paddy i'm sick of it. i may be overreacting but i just don't understand you." she says walking to the door trying to open it. i just smiled. "stop smiling you idiot." she said punching me "help me try open the god damn door- what are you smiling??" she asked fighting with the door.
"you called me paddy. twice." i said smiling to her sitting on the couch that was in the basement. "oh shut up" she said smiling and sitting next to me. we were there for a hour until the door opened. we talked. but we haven't talked about why i was ignoring her and i have no intentions on telling her.
