Myrah and Connor woke up from where they slept on either the floor or the couch, Myrah on the couch, Connor on the floor, going to see their brother. Christopher was still sleeping, and quite soundly at that. He was sprawled out over his bed, his hair a bit knotted. They questioned if they should wake him because he looked so peaceful, but they ultimately decided to wake him up.
Because Myrah was used to aggressively shaking someone to wake them, Connor was allocated to wake their brother. He held Christopher's shoulder lightly, shaking his arm softly. In response, Christopher shook Connor's hand off his shoulder, groaning in annoyance. He wanted to sleep more. So, Connor leaned down, kissing his brother on the cheek a few times to see if it worked.
"Chris, wake up." Connor whispered, rubbing his brother's back. Christopher sat up, opening his eye. He looked very well rested, but still quite exhausted. He seemed to have had such a good sleep that there was indent marks in his face and arms, his eye was squinted, his hair was slightly tussled, and his clothes were crinkled.
His siblings started laughing at the sight, very glad that Christopher had a good sleep. Connor happened to keep a camera in the room, so he took a quick photo. First, they let him stretch his limbs and back, producing a few cracks from popping air bubbles. They got him out of bed and guided him to the bathroom connected to his room.
"I'm just going to run you a bath so you can get cleaned up. Okay?" Connor said, and Christopher just nodded as the water was turned on. Then Connor started wrapping his brother's casted leg in plastic wrap, so it didn't get wet. Myrah combed Christopher's hair, which still fell to his knees. Connor felt the temperature of the water and got everything that was essential for his brother to wash up.
When the tub was full, Connor shut off the water, and turned to Christopher, who was still half asleep. He tilted his head in the direction of the tub, leaving to get a clean towel and clean clothes for Christopher. On the way, Connor saw Delilah, who was also up and about. Christopher was actually the last person to wake up, and the first one who fell asleep the night prior.
"Morning 'Lilah." Connor said, walking to the towel closet, where he got one regular towel, and two hand towels to dry Christopher's hair.
"Hello Connor. How's Christopher doing? Did he sleep well?" She asked, following Connor back to Christopher's room, where he retrieved a full set of clean clothes. A long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and underclothes.
"A bit stressed out, but I'm hoping that he will be okay. He seemed to have slept really well too." Conner answered, walking back into the bathroom. Myrah was scrubbing Christopher's hair and scalp, where so much dirt, grime, and grease came out. She washed his hair once, twice, thrice, and even a fourth time to ensure that it was completely clean. His hair was so straight that it would be an every second day thing to wash.
Christopher's eyes were closed, his hands picking at his shirt. Myrah had him leaned back against the sink, which she found easier. Eventually, she conditioned his hair, tying it into a bun so the conditioner could set in and do what its purpose was.
"Once you're washed up, I'm going to cut your hair. Just to get rid of the split ends. If you want it any shorter, let me know." She told him, and he nodded. "Keep your eyes closed, I'm going to wash your face."
She used a cloth to clean his face, and cleaned out his ears, behind his ears, his eyebrows, his nose, and put eyedrops in his eye. Connor was on standby, making sure Christopher would be alright. Once the youngest of the triplets had his face cleaned, Myrah smeared a clay mask over his skin.
Christopher cringed, about to push Myrah away, but Connor lightly touched Christopher's hand. It stopped him from thinking that he was about to be poisoned.
