 I froze. 'Urm urm con' I explained everything that happened, it took me a while but when I finished Connor looked shocked. Josh came in.'Mom and Dad are coming now with Amelia and Jess is just finishing her shift. Urm Katie, I got a phone call while I was getting Jess.' Connor Cut Josh off. 'Josh! Bro! Omg I am so sorry! I can't believe I forgot you mate!' Connor said. They hugged. 'Don't worry bro you get used to it after a while.' Josh joked. It hurt because I knew it hurt him. 'Urm Katie can I speak to you outside a second please?' I nodded and kissed Connor on the forehead. 'We will be back in a minute. Kay Con?' He nodded. Josh took me out to the corridor. 'Katie urm, Ben has applied for bail, he has applied for a court case to cut his sentence completely.' I froze. Ben wanted me to go to court to make his prison sentence for nearly killing me shorter. I screamed. 'Katie the court case is tomorrow. You need to be present or he walks free. You can be in another room but you have to turn up.' Josh said. I couldn't believe this. 'Josh, Josh, I think I'm going to pass out' I felt dizzy. Josh caught me. He held me up. 'Its okay Katie, lets go back into Connor's room and sit down. I would carry you but I think I might be squished.' I laughed. Josh led me to the seat next to Connor's bed. Connor we led on his side, with his back to us. 'Connor?' Josh said. Connor turned and looked at us. A look of horror crossed his face. 'Who are you?!? Get out!! Ahh!' Connor screamed. I froze. He forgot who I was. I began to cry. 'Get out!!!' He screamed. Josh helped me up and led me to the corridor. 'So that's how you felt every day for 2 years.' I said to Josh. 'Pretty much!' Josh replied. I began to cry even more. I now knew how much heartbreak Josh went through. I don't know how he did it.
