Sam and I pulled up at the airport. Gave the car back to the rental, grabbed our luggage and walked to departures. I looked down at Sam 'Sam I am so proud of you. I am lucky to have you' I said. Sam was about to speak when I bumped into someone. 'Oh gosh, I am so sorry!' I said. I looked up. 'Avan? Veronika?' I said confused. 'Veronika? I thought you were going on holiday to France?' I asked confused. 'I was but then Avan came and apologised to me and we are back together.' I sighed. 'How are you?' Avan asked. 'I am fine thanks. Oh Avan this is Sam' I said gesturing my hands over to Sam. 'Nice to meet you Sam. I am Avan. I am one of your dads best friends' Sam smiled. 'Nice to meet you' I smiled. 'Where are you going?' I asked. 'To see Josh!' Sophia said coming from behind Veronika. I smiled. Hiding my pain. 'Haha I guess your excited Soph?' Sam said. 'Yeah I am.' Sam replied. Sophia whispered something to Sam. 'Veronika can you stay with Sam while I go change the flight' she nodded. I left them all and changed my flight to today. Luckily there were two seats on the next flight. I thanked the woman and took the tickets. As I got closer to Avan and Veronika I heard something unusual. 'Katie seems different. I just I don't know what happened, but something's happened today.' Avan said. 'Well Sophia shouldn't of mentioned seeing Josh. Katie doesn't know about Elizabeth so shut up.' Veronika said. Everyone knew about Josh dating Elizabeth except me. 'Hey Guys' I said walking up behind them acting as if nothing happened. 'Hey, urm Katie were going to have to go now.' Avan said. I nodded. 'Oh that's okay me and Sam need to catch our flight home.' I hugged Avan. 'Its nice to see you again Avan, I missed you.' I said pulling away from our embrace. 'Are you going to stay in England?' I asked Veronika hugging her. 'I don't know Katie' she said. 'Oh.' I replied. 'Make sure you say bye if you do go' I said pulling out of our hug. Sam grabbed my hand. 'Bye guys, have fun. I will see you in the UK.' I said grabbing our suitcases and walking into the departures. Sam waved as we walked away. I checked us in and we went through security. Sam was sat on his iPod when he spoke up. 'Mom whose Elizabeth? Kier mentioned her, so did Avan and Veronika? Mom who is she?' Sam asked.
