Chapter 25

 I shook off his stare and looked forward. I drove to the only place I felt safe, my old house. It took me a while to find my way, but I just had to get there. I pulled up outside. A car was in the garage and there was someone in my old bedroom. I broke down in tears, oh how I wished I still lived there. I wanted everything to be back to normal. I wanted my life back. A woman came to the window of the living room and stared at me. I started the car and drove to Josie's. I didn't really want to see her, I didn't have anyone else. On the way to her house, I worked out what I was going to say, how I was going to apologise for everything. I stopped the car, climbed out and walked to her door. I felt sick to my stomach. I rang the doorbell. There was a pause. A heard footsteps running down the stairs. 'I got it babe!' A man yelled. The door swung open. 'Hello' he said. He was tall, dark haired and muscular. 'Hi, urm I am looking for Josie? Is she here?' He laughed. 'Yes of course she is, my perfect wife' he said. A woman came to the door and kissed him. She turned to face me 'Hell-' she stopped what she was saying. 'Katie?' She said. I nodded. Josie ran and hugged me. 'Katie I have missed you so much! I heard what happened, all of it. Elizabeth told me about everything. I am so sorry.' I froze. Elizabeth. What! How did Elizabeth know what happened? 'What?' I said. 'Elizabeth. She told me?' Josie said. 'I know she told you Jose but what did she tell you?' I asked. 'Everything? Katie, she's Josh's girlfriend?' I froze. 'WHAT!'
