Hailey carefully opens Zander's door. He and Luke haven't emerged from Zander's room, and it's already 10:30 in the morning. How late did they stay up?
Sunlight is streaming in through the window, casting a perfect spotlight on Luke buried in Zander's arms. Zander has one hand in Luke's hair and one hand wrapped protectively around his back as they sleep. The sight alone makes Hailey want to see the dentist for cavities.
She closes the door as softly as she can. They can have their moment for a little longer.
(Until Bethany inevitably wakes them up.)
