I woke up to the sound of cards being shuffled and whispering,
"Sleeping beauty is awake now!" Adare laughed,
"What time is it?" " It's only 6:30" Leia said pointing to the clock
"Well, then I am not sleeping beauty, am I !" I said
"You still were the last person to wake in here!" Adare said cheekly. I stared at him until he said
'ok, fine" 'I stared some more and then without realising it, I accidentally made him hover mid-air for a few seconds, before I realised that I was doing it.
"Sorry!" I said quickly after I had lowered him to the ground
"It's ok, you did that without realising. I mean that's kind of dangerous isn't it?"
"Yeah, I guess" I replied, "I think we should talk to Arthur and Merlin" Leia said, still in a state of half shock and half in aww, we agreed. Then I remember last night and I also had to get dressed, so after I had gotten dressed I put my pyjamas under my pillow. I quickly got the camera and hid it in my satchel and raced out the door to catch up with my friends. We walked up to Merlin and Arthur's hut, when we got there Arthur was just walking out of the hut.
"How's my champion and my warriors?" Arthur asked "Arthur, where's Merlin?" Adare asked
"Merlin, Oh he's inside getting ready for a trip into a book" Arthur replied
"What book?" Adare asked
"Briella's castle" he replied
"Do you two have a minute, we need to talk about something" Adare said urgently.
Arthur checked his watch "alright, but it has to be only 10 or less."
Soon we were all sitting around a stone table,
"What happened?" Merlin asked
"well, you see, I was amused and slightly annoyed with Adare calling me sleeping beauty because I was the last one awake, so i stare him down and then I somehow made him float in the air without realising that I was doing it, my mind went blank when it happened it was like I didn't have control over what i was doing" I explained
"Hmmmm, so has anything like this even happened before?" Merlin asked,
"No, well at least I think it hasn't happened before," I said,
"Well then, I guess you try some of these activities," Merlin said, handing me a book with a picture of an eye on it. Then Leia and Adare left to do activities,
"So, have you seen anything that scared you? Has someone hurt you?" Merlin asks in a soothing voice, then I remember part of the reason why I came here. " Actually, yes, I saw someone last night through the window. I created a camera and took a video to show you" I said slowly with a slight quiver in my voice.
"Ok, but what's a video and what is that?'' he says pointing to my satchel where I was just pulling out my camera. "This is a camera, it is a modern Earth machine that allows you to take pictures and videos of a scene and play or look at them over and over again and again." I explained "So you used that to record what you saw last night" Merlin said "Yes" I replied "That was part of the reason i came" I showed him the video of the girl outside the hut. " Briella," Merlin said in a quiet voice
"Who?" I asked.
"Briella, one of the most dangerous people in this world, but a few years ago she was imprison a story by a wizard," he said softly. Then two puzzle pieces clicked and started to create part of the bigger picture.
