If Merlin had said that teleporting through a book was like being stabbed with a gazillion knives. Then I would ask if there was another way or if there wasn't if we could have a lease that had some form of painkillers and at least a warning!!!

Then I was falling out of the sky, again! "Oww" I heard Leia had just landed next to me. "Ahhhhhh" Adare was about to land. "Why didn't Merlin warn us about the pain?" he complained, Leia rolled her eyes and I assessed my ankle. I stood up and noted that there were a great many trees and continued down the dirt path.

"Is that the palace?" Leia looked sceptically at the old fashioned, semi-run down, small palace. "I guess" I said with a shrug "I say we wait till dark." Adare said with a funny mysterious smile on his face, "Well, if we do that we should go now" I retorted. Adare looked at the sky and chuckled softly. Leia smiled and then said "well, stop flirting and let's get going" Adare looked like he had accomplished everything, I merely stared daggers at both of them. We walked up to the palace. It was semi-run down, its roof glimmered green against the grey sky, a wooden dragon watched as we passed it. The air was cold, and crisp. I thought I could feel the wooden dragon watching us as we entered the front porch.

Leia tried opening the door," locked" she whispered, and she turned back to the door and tapped it gently with her pinkie finger, the door handle glowed a brilliant gold colour and swung wide open. We walked in the ancient castle, "wow, this is like a fairy-tale princess's dream" Adare said I couldn't argue with that statement. The interior was literally a fairy-tale castle. Gold encrusted nearly every, there something that didn't feel right, 'black magic' I thought. I always had hated black magic, I scared me, it killed many people, and turned people into heartless souls who murdered for no reason. Now I stood in a castle full of it! "I think that if she was planning anything she would have been in her room" Leia whispered, eyes large with fear.

The stairs creaked as we tiptoed up the grand, central staircase. The next floor was even grander than the first a gigantic, crystal chandelier and the room's encrustations changed to "platinum" Leia said in awe "how you know that?" I ask "one of my talents" she said "that how I kind of defeated Arthur, I figure the weak points in his armour, and knowing what metal you're dealing with helps greatly" "stop talking about defeating Arthur. We have other things to do!" Adare interrupted, "well, I don't think her room is on this level, I think that there's another level." I said "I don't see any other stairs or any ways to another level. Why do you think that there is another level?" Adare question "And why not on this level?" "I can feel it" I replied

These are some of the times when having friends that don't question you when you have a feeling about some. We walked around the level looking. "Rome, Leia there's a different pattern on this tile" Adare called "yeah, that's fake" Leia said look up at the roof tile. I flew up to the tile and pressed it. Suddenly and rope ladder fell from the roof. We climbed inside the room, a queen size bed with silver hangings fell from four posts and a solid, gold desk sat across from the bed. One other thing filled the room, the darkest magic hogged the air. We quickly searched the room and found nothing.

I walked closer to the desk; my hand clasped around my sapphire book charm, my eyes grew with fear, the desk had the darkest magic I had ever felt. I touched the back of the desk mirror and something clicked under my hand. As soon as I reached the compartment, the darkest surrounded and sucked in all the air before ramming into my chest. Then the world tumbled into darkness. I heard the calls of my friends in the distance, Adare was yelling to Leia about a gargoyle dragon thing, and then I felt a cool hand grab me. I couldn't hear anything.
