Chapter 26: Raging Battleship - Vs. Shockadra

Soon, the entire HQ was organized in the auditorium for a meeting as Warlord Tyrad Ragammia, and Dr. Mateo stood at the front on the stage. Everyone else was listening patiently (except for Demon, Who was chewing a bunch of chips as loud as possible) to what the well-known figures had to say.
"Maverick Investigator HQ! According to the recent information provided by a team of Equestrian Researchers, close friends of Princess Twilight Sparkle, and a team of Ragammia, Mateo, and Vuro, we have gained some new information about the new threat to both worlds, Dr. Creis." An image of magnaquartz then showed up on the giant screen.
"This is a material known as magnaquartz. This was formed from Energy we suspect is magic and a fusion of E-crystals. This material was discovered by Creis himself, and can do things that were thought to be impossible, such as opening dimensional rifts and greatly enhancing the power of whoever it is used on." Said Mateo.
"Therefore, If Creis is using this on any of his creations and we stop it, we have to destroy it immediately. If any magnaquartz is obtained by us, I've built a chamber based on the data I've gathered that can deplete the energy released from it."
"Um...Dr. Mateo?" Said one of the hunters.
"If Creis was able to create magnaquartz, couldn't he make more?" The rest of the crowd began to chatter among themselves until Tyrad shushed them.
"It is possible. But I don't think it will be easy for Creis." Said the warlord.
"Yes, but this energy in magnaquartz is obtained from the dimensional space in between this one and Planet Equis." Stated Ragammia.
"All we have to do is..." the hero then stopped talking and realized what he was about to say.
"...no, nevermind. I'm not considering that."
"So 'Warlord' Tyrad, what do we have to do to stop Creis?" Said Demon, still eating her chips.
"Ugh..." The Warlord of the Enertron Security Force (ESF) then pulled up a map on the screen with two globes on it.
"There are three tasks I need the lot of us to complete: the first task is pinpointing any possible locations where Creis can get magnaquartz in both worlds, possibly. The second one is performing guerrilla operations on Creis's forces and wearing them down, possibly going hand-in-hand with the first mission. Lastly, the third task is try and search for information regarding Creis's headquarters wherever it is and to gather enough information to break in and sabotage it while rescuing a recent part-time Investigator and Princess of Equestria, Gaia." Said Tyrad.
"I have assigned the Investigators into groups of Task Forces instead of your usual units instead. That information has been sent to all of you. First, Task Force A will back up Ragammia and Mateo. We've received leaked information that mentions Creis launching an aerial assault on Yakistan."
"You can count on us. Right, dude?" Said Ragammia to Mateo.
"You bet!" The two then shared a fist bump.

Ragammia: Guess I'm with you, Mateo. Let's do this!

"Next, Task Force B will assist Velga and Vuro on a mission to Termina Cortex in order to take back a lava plant invaded by Creis's forces."
"Yeah! Me and you, Velga!" Said Vuro, high-fiving his brother.

Velga: Me and Vuro. Just like old times...I never really do much with him anymore. Maybe this mission will change that so that we can become close again...

"Finally, Task Force C led by Demon and Yoshone will Attack a base Creis has built underwater that supplies his headquarters in an area known as Siren's Cove." Yoshone quickly stared wide-eyed at Demon, who had finally finished her chips.
"Looks like it's me and you, ninja girl." She said, grinning her signature smile.

Yoshone: I could take anything thrown at me, I really could. I have fought an army of Mavericks by myself, exposed spies and important information, and have proven myself to be a master shinobi. But working with Demon? That is one thing I wish I didn't have to handle. That Investigator is bad at following orders and working with others. If this doesn't kill me, I don't know what will...

"However, keep in mind that the force leaders and I may mix up their standings to try and get an edge for the missions." Tyrad finished.
"Now let's do what we do best: protect the humans, Enertrons, and Equis creatures!" The entire auditorium then broke into cheers.
"Yes! Save the humans!"
"Defeat the mavericks! Yeah!"
"Obtain victory! Hoorah!"
"Well, I don't see us preparing any better than this." Said Ragammia, glancing at the crowd with Mateo.
"Me neither. Let's get a move on." Said Mateo.
"Right behind you." Said Ragammia, as the two teleported away.
