As soon as I finished changing, I grabbed my wallet and dashed to the close by Seven Eleven

When I arrived I decided to look for Jesse first

That's when I realized that there wasn't much people, I mean duh. It's 12 in the morning

All of a sudden I heard crying

"The heck?", I said as I went to the noise seeing Jesse holding a juice box

"Why do you have t-to be 4 dollars? I'm a dollar s-short...", I heard Jesse whisper before crying again

Okay, don't tell me this guy is crying over an orange juice box

"All I wanted was an *sniff* orange j-juice AND THE WORLD HAS FORBIDDEN ME TO GET ONE!", I looked at Jesse in disbelief

Is he actually older than all of us

He continued to cry for a while before wiping his tears

He was about to return the orange juice box, but then he hugged it and started crying again

I gave him a what-the-heck-dude face as I looked at the counter to see the cashier not paying any mind

She was too busy calling someone on the phone

I sighed as I finally decided to go over to him

"Here.", I said as I gave him a dollar making him look up to meet my eyes

"AH! YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSE TO SEE THAT" he said as he brought his arms to form a cross covering his face

"Too late, cause I have already seen it pretty boy", I said as I wiped a tear from his cheek

"Now, let's go pay for these. And stop crying over that juice box, it's in the house", I said as Jesse sniffed

I then grabbed the red Gatorade from the basket and replaced it with a purple one

"Abby likes the purple Gatorade the most", I randomly said as I got a hum in return

"So, pretty boy. We should get going.", I said as we prepared to go the cashier

I made Jesse wait outside as I decided to go by myself

After I paid I went outside to see Jesse crouching by the left side of the parking lot

I smiled at this, he's like a little kid

"Hey! Pretty boy! Let's go home", I said as he looked at me before nodding

Oh gosh, his eyes were so red

"How long have you been crying for this?", I said as I threw him his orange juice box

"I don't know...", He said as he opened it and dipping it from the straw

"Never would've thought of it. The Jesse, crying over a juice box...", I said as he looked at me frowning

"Shut it.", He said before continuing to sip his juice box

As we were walking home, I looked at him. Well more of stared

Maybe he wasn't too bad after all

"So, pretty girl. What're you thinking? Ways to piss me off?" Jesse suddenly asked

"No, I was thinking of how sensitive you are to cry over juice boxes. Cute", I said making him blush

He avoided my gaze until we reached home

This time I looked left and right before crossing as I hold Jesse's wrist leading the way

We quickly entered the house seeing our parents talking by the kitchen

When we got to the pool, we saw the rest gone

"Huh, where could they be-?", I was cut off when Jesse connected his hand to mine

"I might know where", and with that he walked close to the pool and pointed at a gate

"Right! My garden", I said as I ran to the garden still not letting Jesse's hand go

I was about to unlock the door but then I saw it unlocked

Jesse must be right then

I opened it to see them at a picnic table in the middle of my garden

"Hey guys!", I greeted as they all greeted us

Without noticing I slipped my hand away from Jesse as I went to my friends

"What made you guys leave the pool?", I asked them as I sat beside Tyler

"Too cold, don't know why Kian wanted to go midnight swimming", Miriam said as we laughed

"Valid reason", I said as Tyler nudged me

"Hey, we called our parents and told them we'll sleep over here. Hope it's okay...", Tyler said as I laughed

"No worries, it's fine", I said as he smiled in relief

"So, what do you guys wanna do?", I asked them as I looked at each of them

"Seems like none of you guys are going to sleep anytime soon", I said

"Let's go karaoke!", Tae Young suddenly said as Mei's eyes widened

"Great idea! Let's do a match!", Mei said as she smiled smugly

"Wow, are you competitive", Robaire said as Mei suddenly turned into a panda

"Woah, relax!", Miriam said as Meilin smiled

"Sorry! Just excited to do karaoke again! It's been so long", Mei said as I smiled

"Karaoke it is!", I said as Abby jumped up from her seat

"LET'S SING THE NIGHT AWAY!"
