y/n's POV

"Just leave. The door is right there. I'll even have one of our guards escort you", I heard my dad say as I hurried inside

"y/n", mom greeted me as I smiled at her and immediately went towards Tae Young's mom

"I'm sorry, but I don't think you're invited in our household. Clearly my parents here are trying to make you leave.", I said as she scoffed

"I am not leaving until I'm sure you've cut ties with Tae Young!", She said sternly as I scoffed

"Look. If you don't support our relationship then it is not my problem. But it would be delightful if you just shut up.", I said as her eyes widened

"How dare- do you know who you're talking to!?", Tae Young's mom said as I smiled

"Yes. A very unpleasant human being.", I said as I called over the guards

"Please guide her out of here. Drag her if needed. Thank you", I said as they nodded

And with that Tae Young's mom is no longer in our sight

"I'm sorry for that", I told my parents as they just smiled

All of a sudden Kian appeared holding a knife that looks like he went to get at the kitchen- WAIT A KNIFE!?

"KIAN! WHAT WERE YOU PLANNING TO DO WITH THAT!?", I asked as Kian slowly hid the knife behind him

Moments of silence passed as Kian groaned

"She wasn't leaving so I thought maybe a itsy bitsy tiny threat would scare her off", Kian explained as I sighed

"Look, no matter how much you wanna kill that bitch. We do not and can not commit crimes.", I said

"I wasn't going to kill her though!", He said as I just sighed

"Kindly return the knife", I said as he just nodded and left

"Hey, you don't have to be sorry for her attitude. Okay? You can love anyone", mom said as I smiled at her

"Thank you", I said as I hugged them

Tae Young's POV

While waiting for my friend who I trusted with shits in my life, I started to cry

I sat at the floor just sobbing not realizing he had arrived

"Tae...", I heard him say as I immediately got up and hugged him

"Jesse", I said as I cried while hugging him

I felt him high back as he patted my back trying to calm me down

"What's wrong, bub?", I heard him ask as I hugged him tighter

"M-mom... She's threatening me to leave y/n", I said as I felt Jesse stop patting my back as he just let his hand rest there

"I knew your mother was bad, but I never thought she's this bad.", Jesse said as I pulled away from the hug

"J-Jesse, I know", with that I saw Jesse's eyes widened

"I know you like- love y/n.", I said as my heart cracked a bit

"What do you mean.", Jesse asked as I sighed and held his shoulders

"I know you love her and... I'm sorry for being selfish back then.", I said as Jesse's eyebrows furrowed

"Why are you saying sorry? It isn't your fault.", Jesse said as I shook my head sideways

"I should've gave way for the both of you", I said as Jesse sighed

"Look. That is not the problem right now. What matters right now is to protect your relationship with y/n-", Jesse was cut off when I spoke

"No. I don't want to. Mom threatened to kill not only y/n but her family and you guys as well. You know what she's capable of!", I said as Jesse looked at me surprised

"I was lucky enough she allowed me to join 4*Town, but that's it", I said as Jesse frowned

"You can't give up y/n like that- you guys are about to have you 5th anniversary", Jesse said as I felt my eyes burn up

"Sometimes, love is cruel. You do something that seems wrong, but is actually beneficial for everyone.", I said as I felt my heart crack again

"I don't expect y/n to forgive me for not fighting. I just want her to be happy.", I said

"I'm letting her go.", With that, I felt my heart shatter into pieces

I never thought I would hurt like this.

But what is my pain against y/n when I finally tell her that it's over?

I don't deserve her.
