TWENTY- NINE

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Jungkook?" Eun Chae pushed him aside as she hugs Haneul. "Don't interfere with my problem, wit–." Yoongi's glare stopped the young one. "Take her to the car. I got this." Yoongi told Eun Chae. The witch somehow whisper a spell into Haneul's ear which cause the detective to sleep. Yoongi lift Haneul up. "We shall deal with this later." The Min couple left the place with Hanuel in Yoongi's arms. Eun Chae open the back door of their car before Yoongi gently placed the lady that he is carrying down. "Drive back home. I have some unfinished business here." Eun Chae nods and take the car keys from her husband and begin to drive back to their home.

Yoongi POV
As soon the car drives out, I walked back inside and takes off my coat. "You should stop whatever you're doing to her, Jungkook. It is enough that you caused her parents death and now, killing her best friend. Serving his head to her." I pour a glass of whiskey for myself while the young one sat on his chair and glare at me. Does it intimate me? Not at all. Screw him. "Why are you defending her, Hyung? She killed Taehyung." Jungkook got up from his seat and before he gets near me, I neck down my whiskey and placed the glass on the table. "And Taehyung killed her brother." I added before I head over to the box that contains the guy's head. "Trust me, you don't want to fuck things up, Jungkook.  Remember this, if she can kill Taehyung, she won't have issue killing your family. Take my advice. Stay away from her or you might regret it." With that I take my leave.

Once I'm homed, Eun Chae is feeding Min Chae some baby snacks considering now the little one is a biter. "Where is she?" I asked and Eun Chae look at the bedroom at the end of the hall. "Wasn't easy to get her to bed. I almost dragged her on the floor." Eun Chae said before I sat down next to her. "I've treated her wound. Luckily Jungkook didn't break her skull." I frowned and watch Min Chae playing with her snacks. "Out of curiosity though. Why are we protecting her?" Eun Chae asked while I carry Min Chae and look at her messy black hair. "I owe Taehyung for saving our marriage. I feel like protecting Hanuel will at least give him some peace." Min Chae cackles as I speak. "I'm going to go check on her. Help me clean up this little one." Eun Chae said. Before she leave, I grabbed her hand and pull her into a kiss. "Thank you for helping me." I whispered near her lips before Min Chae pushed my face away and starts to cry. "You little devil."

Eun Chae POV
I enter the room where Haneul is and frown when I noticed she is not in bed. The next thing I know, a sharp object is placed on my throat and she locked my arms, not allowing me to move. "Where the fuck am I?" She hissed and I rolled my eyes. "At Yoongi's house. If you don't let me go I will have to use my magic to stop you from going wild." She slowly let go of me and I snatched the dagger from her. "Yoongi will cook dinner in awhile. He wants me to check on you." I said as I head over to the table and begin to mix some calming herbs for her to consume.

Honestly, this Haneul looks dead. There is no positive aura in her. It's gone. "Here drink this lavender tea. It will calm your mind down." I hand the teacup to her and she doubted it. Of course she will feel that way considering she knows about the occult. "Don't worry, there is nothing illegal or satanic in this drink. It is just lavender tea and fresh herbs." I added and she begin to drink up slowly. "From now on, you will stay with us. Don't bother going to work just yet. Cause you do know that the higher authority is working under the cult's payroll right? They will hand you over to Jungkook if they know you're unprotected." She snarled at that name. "You have to trust me and Yoongi here. My husband may be part of the cult but he will hold onto his promises for the sake of friendship and love."

"What makes you agree to marry Yoongi? Did you know who he was?" She asked and I nod. "Mhmm. In fact, my story is way complicated. You should ask Na Ra instead. She was just a normal girl like you before she knew Jungkook." I walk over to her to look at her sullen eyes. "Go and clean yourself up. I will get you something to wear." Just when I was about to leave, she said something. "Eun Chae..." there is a long pause. "Thank you and I'm sorry about earlier." I give her a smile before leaving the room.

Haneul POV
I look around the room and it seems normal to me. Nothing Satanic or witchy about it. I get into the shower and it hits me again then I have nobody else in my world. My parents are gone so is Jun-Ho and even him. The vengeance and anger inside me built the rage and cause me to burn him down along in the church. Honestly, I miss him. I stepped out of the shower and put on the silk nightgown that is placed on the bed. Fancy nightgown.

"Haneul, dinner is ready." Eun Chae knock on the door and enter the room. "Oh? Where did you get that nightgown?" I raised my brow. "Didn't you put it here?" I asked. "Err nope. I was just about to give this one to you." She is holding a pair of white shirt and sweatpants. "Wait so you didn't put this here?" Eun Chae shakes her head. "Well since you've worn it, you can use this for tomorrow morning. Come lets have dinner." Eun Chae said as she placed the shirt on the bed. I nod and leave the room with strange feeling.

Eun Chae POV
Oh I hate this feeling as soon I stepped into the room Haneul's in. I begin to sense some negativity in here. As soon Haneul left, I look at the window. "You do realize I can see you right?" I said as he then stepped out from the shadows. A chuckle escaped from my lips as I look at him. "Well I assume Yoongi knew about this and that is why he wants to protect Haneul at all cost." He nods. "So what's your current status? Dead or alive?" I asked. "Whichever you wish to consider." I frowned as I stepped forward, close to him. "I'm sensing something unusual about you." He smirked as he then revealed something to me that makes me feel that whatever Yoongi said earlier make sense.

"Unholy mother of Lilith. You're Lucifer's son."
