Drishti:- nahi. Tum grey pehnoge nahi to mein is reception mein nahi ane vali.

Rakshit:- par Drishti ye color acha nahi lag raha mujhpe.

Setting the coat while looking at myself in the mirror, I tried explaining her how plain the suit was.

Drishti:- to tumhe ispe chand tare chahea the? Ya phul ki embroidery kara dun tumhare lea. Acha to lag raha hai na. Please yahi pehno.

Rakshit:- par ye jach nahi raha.

Drishti:- par mein bhi grey saree pehn rahi hun. Hume match krna chahea na aj. Please na Rakshit!

She caught my hand and started shaking my fingers in slow movements. She was the love of my life, If she wanted me to wear the outfit of a clown, I would happily do that for her.

Drishti:- aur mere pas na do sarees thi par meine ye vali chose ki kyuki grey tumpe acha lag raha thaaaaa. Dekho na kitne sundar lag rahe ho.

Today she wanted us to wear the same color, how could I possibly say no. And if she thought I looked good it in, then it is what it is.

Rakshit:- ok theek hai. Jaisa ap kahe maharani sahiba.

A smile flashed on her face as she yelled a thank you and hugged me in happiness. Like the last night, I felt an increase in my breathing rate as she was in my arms with her own will. But like yesterday night, I would not let the moment slip away.

Say it was my bad luck that she parted before I could touch her and ran to the closet with the saree kept on the table. As the closet door shut behind her, she spoke from in there.

Drishti:- ab jao yaha se! Tum mujhe tab tak nahi skte jab tak mein puri tarah se taiyar na ho jau. Aur uske lea bahr ake bht kuch krna baki hai. Agar tum bahr hue to mujhse kabhi bat mat krna.

Rakshit:- man nahi kar raha.

Drishti:- to matlab tum nahi ja rahe?

She sounded mad so I told her I was leaving and shut the door to our room. I waited for my wife to come outside. That moment ny heart was yearning for the glimpse of her when she was getting ready to show the world who she was married to.

Moreover she said she didn't regret the marriage, and her actions proved it too. She was right- her pretty eyes should not cry because of some screwed person who chose to leave a diamond like her.

The way she smiles, my heart would flutter and my stomach would twist in knots. The way she talks, my hears just wanted to keep hearing to everything she had to say. The way she touches me, I just wanted to hold her too but was too nervous to do it.

I spent the whole time staring at a picture of her till the door opened and she came running behind my back.

Drishti:- Rakshit!!

She yelled in my ears but as I was about to turn she asked me to close my eyes because it was a surprise. I closed my eyes as directed by her and turned around. Her bangles jiggled in a sweet mealody and her innocent laughter was heard.

Drishti:- kholo!

I opened my eyes slowly only to suffer a beat drop seeing her in a greyish white saree and matching jewelery. Her hairs fell on her shoulders to her front in a wavy form and she held her right arm to her stomach before waving her pallu and looking at me.

Drishti:- kaisi lag rahi hun?

Rakshit:- Drishti, ye sab kyu?

It was the same saree from yesterday that she had rejected, saying that it didn't quiet match her expectations and today she stood in front of me, dressed in that.

Drishti:- kya matlab kyu? (Crosses her arms across her chest) sirf yahi vali saree thi jo tumhe kal achi lagi. Baki sab ki bar pe to tumhara muh bana hua tha. (Childishly) To mein kya krti?

Rakshit:- tumne ye mere lea?

Drishti:- han to aur kiske lea?

Never had anyone worn anything for me and seeing my wife wearing the dress she didn't like, just because I liked it, made me weak so I let down the tears that formed in my eyes.

Tears of happiness

Happiness of having someone
Happiness of someone who cares
Happiness of my love doing it for me

Drishti:- Rakshit

She rushed towards me as I wiped my tears. Taking my arms in her hands she looked at me tensed and asked me why I was crying. The genuine concern in her voice was another level of satisfaction.

Drishti:- ye achi nahi lagi kya?

Rakshit:- nahi vo bs, (wipes his tears away and cups her face) mein akela rehta hun na so mere lea kabhi kisi ne kuch khas nahi kia aur aj tumne ye pehna to bs khud ko rok nahi saka.

Her delicate face was in my hands and I couldn't help touching her hairs. She made that o face again before cupping my face with her angelic hands and wiping the tears off.

It was like all the happiness in the world had come to me today.

Drishti:- to phir roz rone ke lea taiyar ho jao.

She smiled before realizing what she said and covering her mouth while nodding a straight no.

Drishti:- mera vo matlab nahi tha! Mera matlab to khushi ke asuon se tha, pakka!

I chuckled and pulled her nose gently.

Rakshit:- pata hai mujhe.

Drishti:- acha ab chalo. Nai to hum late ho jaenge. Aur agar hum late hue to mein galti apne upar nahi vali mein bata rahi hun pehle hi.

As if I would just let the blame come your way. Before it dares to think so, it will find Rakshit Shergill in its path Drishti.

The earrings which she wore kissed her cheeks. It seemed like I got killed when she smiled. My heart has also got pierced as she tightened the arrows of her. Just like alcohol, the caffiene in her took me over.

No girl could ever be her.
