We were all halfway done cleaning when we heard gagging. Confused, I walked out and followed the noise. It was just Danny gagging as he started to clean the bathroom toilet.

Henley, Merritt, and Jack all walked over as well as we all stood around to watch him hold back what seemed to be tears.

"Can't handle the poop duty?" Merritt chucked, walking into the bathroom and pulling aside the closed curtain, "Oh sweet lord."

"What is it?" Henley asked, trying to get as close as she can to peek in. The bathroom only fit two people at a time.

"This is like a cemetery in the tub," Merritt held back a gag as he left the room, composing himself.

"Why are you starting to clean now?" I asked, taking a good look at the bathroom.

"I started when you guys did!" He argued, "I managed to scrub down the Mirror!"

"I'm surprised he even started.." Henley whispered to me, leaning over to get a good look.

I sighed, "Okay sure. How's the kitchen looking?"

"Spotless!" Merritt shouted from the kitchen.

I followed Henley to the kitchen, Jack on my trail, to go check out their work. It looked great, the dishes were all cleaned, the counters washed, everything.

"Wow," Jack mumbled, running his hand across the smooth marble countertops.

A few more hours passed and Danny was done, he started cleaning the living room. Everyone else looked around the now clean apartment. Moments later we all sat around the fireplace.

"There are only two bedrooms and the couch," I explained, crossing my arms over my chest.

We looked around at each other.

"I was thinking about that." Danny started, standing up to assert his dominance, "the girls could share one room... since well- they're girls. I'll take the other bedroom."

Arguments started up when he claimed this.

"Woah who made you boss?" Merritt argued, "I mean I'm perfectly okay with this comfortable couch but having a room to yourself??"

"Also," I piped in, "What makes you think Henley and I want to share a room? Just because we're girls isn't a good enough argument."

Danny rolled his eyes, "Fine. What do you think then (Y.n)?"

"I think Henley and I can share if she's okay with that.." I paused to look over at her.

"I'm fine with it."

"Okay then Merritt wanted the couch which will work, and Jack and Danny can take the other room. We just have to buy another bed and stuff." I stated.

Everyone took a moment's pause before Jack spoke, "I'm alright with that, but are you and Henley going to share a bed or will you buy another bed?"

Henley and I glanced at each other and shrugged, "We'll see how tonight goes and go shopping tomorrow. We just all should unpack since it's getting late. Merritt since your using the couch you can use the coat closet as a closet. Oh! And tomorrow we'll make a chore schedule."

With everything sorted, Henley and I took our luggage and went into a room off on the right. It was a decent room, and I would love to paint it if we were not going to ditch it by the end of the year.

"I'll take the left side of the closet and you can take the right." Henley said, already pulling her clothes out of her luggage, "Wait we don't have hangers."

I paused, "Ohh that's what I forgot."

She chuckled and ended up only taking her blankets and other decorations to set up the room, making it feel more like home.

The closet was built in the wall, with dressers right underneath it, and there were two nightstands. One on each side of the queen bed.

I opened my luggage that held all my important things, such as money, my hugging pillow, a blanket, and miscellaneous things to add around the room.

"It looks pretty good." I smiled, looking around the room that was once a home for bugs and rats.

"Yeah, it does. Do you want the right or left side of the bed?"

"Doesn't matter."

Once we were both in bed, comfortable and covered up in our own blankets, I started to work on the chore list.

After finally finishing everything I needed to get done for the night (Brush teeth, Bathroom, etc) I was finally able to fall asleep peacefully.
