Adventure into Black and White: Pokémon x Male Reader

Chapter 3

Third Person POV

Continuing their quest, Ryuu, Ash, and Gary head for their first Unova region Gym challenge in Striaton City. Not only that they're with a girl named Iris.

"So why are you coming along with us anyway?" Ash asks. "Excuse me, but it's not I'm coming along with you guys. It's that you guys are coming along with me, get it?" Iris answered sharply as she walks ahead of them.

"Oh please." Ash scoffed as he speeds walk past Iris. "It's true," Iris stated as she walks faster. "Man!" Ash yells as he does the same. "Excuse me!" Iris yells.

Soon enough the two of them had a speed walk race as they argue with one another while trying to pass each other. "Who said you could walk in front of me?" Iris demanded.

"No one!" Ash answers. "Look, I figured since you don't know the Unova region I'd help you out." Iris explains as she crosses her arms, "But what do I get for trying to help, obviously not even a thank you."

"But you've done nothing helpful," Ryuu stated as both he and Gary walk past Ash and Iris. "Excuse me?!" Iris challenged. 

"Not only did you not ask any of us to come along with you, but you haven't done anything helpful. All you've done is just call Ash a kid, or squeal when you saw Gible and Pikachu." Ryuu boreally explains.

"The nerve!" Iris yells. "Gible?" Gible looks down as they all see an Oshawott. "Wait, you're that Oshawott that helps us against Team Rocket." Gary recognizes them.

"Osha Oshawott!" Oshawott went over towards Ash as he recognizes it. "Oh yeah, thanks for helping us out back there." Ash smiles before he was confused, "But I don't understand what you're doing here now?"

Oshawott got closer to Ash as Ryuu was looking at the moment like he witnesses something like that before. "Ash, I think Oshawott wants to be you to be its Trainer." Ryuu guessed as Oshawott nodded at it, "Oshawott! Oshawott!"

"Since you helped us out with Team Rocket, then why not!" Ash smiles as Oshawott jumps happily, "Oshawott!"

"Okay, go Pokeball!" Ash throws a Pokeball as it hit Oshawott. However, nothing happens as it rolls on the ground. 

"What's up with the Pokeball bouncing off of Oshawott's head like that?" Ash asks. Ryuu and Gary look at the Oshawott as they turn to Ash, "Hey Ash."

"Yeah?" Ash looks at the two of them. Ryuu and Gary look at one another before nodding as Ryuu went first. "It might be a guest. But Oshawott is a Starter Pokémon for the Unova Region. Did you two happen to see one in Professor Juniper's lab that wasn't taken by a trainer?"

"Ah!" Ash gasped as he remembers Oshawott. Something went off as Ryuu looked to see that his Xtransceiver is ringing. Everyone turns to Ryuu as he sees Ivy calling them, "Ivy?"

"Hey! How's everything going?" Ivy asks as Hugh was also on the screen, "You and your Pokémon are getting along, right?"

"Yes, we're getting along very well." Hugh answers. "Hey, Hugh." Ryuu greeted. "Hey, Ryuu." Hugh smiles, "So why did you call us Ivy?"

"Have you two seen an Oshawott? One left the lab and Professor Juniper is freaking out." Ivy explains.

Ryuu looks at the others as their sweat drop, knowing now what the situation is with Oshawott. "Then that must mean Oshawott's Pokeball is back at Professor's lab," Ash spoke as Ryuu nodded.

"We've got it..."

~Time Skip/Meanwhile~

"That's where Oshawott went. I was so worried since Oshawott left without letting me know."
