Chapter 11:

"So what really happened back in there?" asks Yuyan to his brother who was eating some peeled lotus from their aunt.

Jingyi almost dropped a lotus from his palm when Yuyan brought up that subject. The girl turned her head and saw a sweating Jingyi from her side. She watched him coughed up and gulped nervously before looking up to the sky.

"Gege?" she asks, her head getting closer to his. 

"Umm... let's just say just a normal day of chaos" he answered with a grin plastered on his face, which Yuyan had a skeptical expression.

"Brother, A-niang was literally trying to kill you while we have to calm down Wei Bófù from scolding you guys. A-die and Lan Guzheng are on the corner, rethinking their choices as they left Huasiang Bófù on the floor. Oh and don't get started me with Zǔfù and Gugu"

Flashback

An hour ago, Yuyan and Nie Fang was supposed to ask for permission from their parents who was at the library, stuck with their punishments. When they arrived the place, they were stunned from the chaos inside that they were embarrassed when some Lan disciples walked around the Library Pavilion, looking at them.

Inside the library was a definition of chaos and destruction. Jiang Cheng was on his feet, ready to whip Jingyi and Jin Ling who was on the floor, kneeling on their knees, asking for forgiveness. Wei Ying was beside him, scolding the rest of the team like a real mother. He even smacked Jiang Cheng on the head when he tried to hit Jin Ling with his sword.

Xichen was trying to calm down the brothers but decided to gave up when he was accidentally hit by Jiang Cheng's sword on the head and was scolded by Wei Ying. Wangji was at the corner, rethinking his life choices before Xichen joined in.

Huasiang was at the floor, dead. Well not dead dead. He just collapsed after the junior team explained what they did to deserve to have the same punishment as them. Nie Fang and Yuyan had to digest everything they've seen.

Yuyan had felt her energy drained even more when she saw the mess the others have made. She could have sworn she would've died by just entering the room. On the other hand, Nie Fang was not having any of it, she thought she had a migraine by just watching them.

She even turned to the older girl and said while pointing at the library: "Is this even our family?" Yuyan just shrugged at her and turned her head away from the hole they used to peek, the same Jiang Cheng used before he had entered the library.

When Yuyan turned her head away from the hole, she saw a figure walking towards the library. She squinted her eyes to see clearly which clearly has no use. But as when the figures started to get close, she saw it wasn't only one, there were two. Not only that, it wasn't just a duo of normal people, it was her aunt and her grandpa.

And both of them were so mad, the aura was so dangerously cold that the Lan disciples around them backed away. They have daggers on their gazes, anyone who stare right into them would feel that their heart has been pierced.

Even Yuyan who was literally three feet's away from them had felt a chill running down her spine. Terrified, she'd pull Nie Fang, who had no idea of what's happening around her surrounding, and put her into her arms.

"What the- Yuyan shijie?" was all Nie Fang could say before she saw the older girl pointing at a direction which could make her legs fell. She whimpered just a sight of Yanli and Qiren making their way to the library with their dangerously expression.

Nie Fang felt Yuyan shivered as her hands gripped into the younger's were trembling when Qiren shifted his gaze and landed at the girls from the side.
