RING RING RING!!
I got up from the bench, wiping my pants from the sticky surface of it and put my headphones away. I put on my backpack, my posture is slouched like I haven't slept in days, as I started walking towards the big red doors
I'm kinda nervous....nope, i'm REALLY nervous. I'm totally gonna be that human-punching bag for all the jock hardcore jerks to mess around with. The "spicy straight" girly girls are totally gonna gossip about my fashion and figure out how QUEER I am. I'm terrified, I just wanna fly back to New York, that place was so much more fun. This weird lookin' guy gave me cocaine once. It was not pretty when my father found it in my backpack.
So i'm gliding to the newly made school. The walls looked fairly polished as it was made out of fancy marble. My book on one hand and my phone on the other, scrolling through pinterest. I was so focused on the electronic that I didn't notice the people in front of me and...
BUMP-
Shit-... I bump into a person, making them swing forward as my book drops on the floor. I was panicking. THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AND I ALREADY BUMP INTO SOMEONE?? They probably are already in the position of an angry presence, ready to beat my weak ass up, I say, shaken up and looking down-
"Shit man, i'm r-really sorry for that, I should've looked where I was go-"
Woah.
I finally looked up and my eyes widen, my face flushing a pale red and my mouth hung open. It was that cute guy I was looking at a hot minute ago. He looked so much hotter close up. He looked down upon me, he was about 6'2 glaring down at my 5'10 build. He'd squat down, picking up my book and stretched his hand for me to get it. Still paralyzed to death, I take it and squeeze it tightly. He chuckled quietly for a second. He takes a good look up and down at me.
IS HE CHECKING ME OUT?
His smirk plastered on that stupidly attractive face is showing.
"Be careful next time. Alright?"
He asked, he actually seemed concerned inside of his mean sports man look. He cares? The girl he was talking with puts her elbow on his shoulder, giving me a envious look.
"Yeah" she states "We don't want that ugly face to look even uglier when your clumsy like that. Girls don't like dorky guys like you."
She laughs it off, walking away from us. I look down, knowing damn well this isn't gonna be a good day. The mysterious boy sighs and puts his hand in mine, slapping it a few times. I look back up once again, blushing harder.
"Don't worry 'bout her. She clearly doesn't know what shes sayin'"
His country accent kicking in again, We both laughed awkwardly, my eyes look anywhere but into his eyes. He speaks once again
"Hey look at me. Look me in the eyes. It's kinda rude not to, ain't it?"
I look back at him. His chocolate colored eyes looking directly at my plain green ones in a kind of seductive manner. He smiles flirtatiously, gripping my hand harder this time. He clearly notices the red blush on my pale freckled cheeks. He licks his dried up lips from keeping it open and yapping away with his friend. I really don't know if it's just me but every little action he does with his body seems so...sexy. UH- well I mean, come on. The way he combs his long wavy black hair when it gets in his face, his hips moving side to side in a sassy tone when walking, his detailed features sparkling like beautiful stars. It's so mesmerizing to look at a person like that. He's the first one to break the silence.
"I'm Nicholas. Call me Nick for short. What's your name, cutie?"
I look away in embarrassment from the sudden nickname. Cutie? Uh...alright then. I stutter out
"T-thomas, but you can call me...uh...Tom. ONLY if you want to- yeah. I'm new."
"I can tell.... Thomas huh? Mmm.."
His smile only grows wider, as my name rolls off his tongue so perfectly, I didn't know a person can say my name so graciously like that. He pats my shoulder, signaling his moment to walk away.
"Well Thomas, come with me." He winked.
His hand connected with mine still, he pulls it and we start walking together. We finally made inside after what felt like hours, stepping along long and narrow hallways filled with boring blue lockers and wooden doors with dark oak lining on it. The floors were grayish-black tiles, with some candy rappers in the corners of the school. Kids of different grades walking along the spaces. I answer his random stated questions in short responses.
"What year are you by the way?"
"Junior"
"Aww, same man." It's silent for a bit as we go up the stairs. He continues with another 2 questions.
"Do you have a schedule? What class do you have now?"
"History..."
"Oh fuck, I do too! I can show a pretty young thang like you 'round, hm? What do you say?"
My face flushed red out of no where. My hands were sweating under his cold ones. I nod hesitantly, he smiles again with a toothy grin this time and drags me to the classroom. 2 minutes later and i'm already in front of the class.
"You ready..?"
I sigh loudly.
Phew....
"Bring it on."
