Eula POV

I got off the bus and followed him from behind, We walk towards 24 hours convince store he was ahead of me it was hard for me to keep up with his pace since my tiredness is taking over my body

We went inside the store and bought some coffee as he said it was his treat and so it did, we leaned ourselves at a high table while staring outside the night sky.

Aether - Cold huh? Why's that?

I looked at him, He must mean about my coffee that I ordered Ice cold coffee.

Eula - Oh it keeps me alert and awake for the time being

Aether - Oh you are always cautious aren't you Eula, Why don't you lay low a little bit

Eula - ahaha..... No, I can't and I don't want to be a disappointment again

Aether - You have never disappointed me I mean you followed my instruction thorough without questions

He took a sip of his coffee

Eula - Well some people do...

I was caressing the side of my coffee as I hold it somehow I felt nervous talking about this but I don't want to see as a weak

Aether - How so?

Eula - Well......

Aether - It is because you are from the Lawrence?

I was startled as I heard that name, I never had spoken that name or everyone haven't spoken that name in the corporation since I've joined them, I lower my head As I try to fight back my emotions

Eula - Oh... you knew about it

Aether - Of course, I do *took a sip of his coffee*

Eula - *sigh* why did you even decide to go on a mission with me if you knew about that

Aether - Your family's past isn't for you to burden, it just so happens that your blood related

Eula - *chuckles* what difference does it make?

Aether stood silent for a while, I looked over him I saw him staring at me with a straight face I touched my face to see if something is on my face I felt water touch my fingers I was crying

I quickly turned away from him and wiped my tears away

Eula's thoughts - ah.... so embarrassing I cried in front of him

Aether hand me a handkerchief I politely accepted it and wiped my tears with it

Eula - ah... how embarrassing of me

Aether - Embarrassing? how is it embarrassing, I think it's dumb when people think crying makes you weak, crying just........ makes you more of a human

Aether took a sip of his coffee then leaned his head into his fist as he stare outside the dark and cold night
