~1 year later~
We've grown together, we've gotten closer, closer than ever before. I love her, she loves me. We're perfect together. But I've noticed lately she's been sad, trying to cover up her feelings. She smiles less, laughs less, writes less. I love her songs, she hasn't written lately though. Not that I know of. She tells me she working on her private songs. She said I'll be able to see them sooner or later.
I looked across the table into her eyes. Today was her 19 birthday, she's grown in front of my eyes. "What?" She said smiling at me. "You're so beautiful." I said. "How many more times are you gonna tell me that?" She laughed. "Until you believe it." I said. "You ready?" I said giving the check to the waiter. "Yeah, I'm tired." She said grabbing my hand before we walked out of the restaurant.
"I can't believe you're nineteen!!" I said opening the door for me. "I know! It feels like just yesterday I was 18." She said and we both started laughing. "Yeah, but seriously though it all went by so fast." I said. "Too fast." She whispered looking out the window. I intertwined my fingers with hers. A smile appeared on her lips. I pulled into the driveway of my house. I can't wait to see the look on Jackie's face.
I opened Jackie's door and helped her out. We walked into the house and its was all dark. "Why are all the-" She started to say but then I turned on the light. Everyone jumped out of their hiding places. "SURPRISE!!" They yelled. Jackie's hands went to her mouth and she stood in shock. "Oh my gosh! Guys!!" She said smiling so big giving everyone a hug. We all talked while music played. I looked across the room she was talking with Perrie. They have gotten really close lately.
Jackie wrote a song for Little Mix, it's called 'We are who we are'. It's a really good song. Jackie caught me staring at her and moved across the room to me. "You planned this all?" She asked. "Of course." I smiled giving her a hug. She looked at me a kissed me.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you too." I smiled at her.
"Forever.."
"And Always."
"To infinity.."
"And Beyond."
We said that everyone time we told each other we loved each other. It's just a cute little thing we do. We danced together then it was time for cake. It was a 5 Tear cake with her on the top of it with her guitar. "Oh my gosh! This is amazing!!" She said sitting in the chair. We started singing happy birthday, since the room was full of singers we sounded pretty good. She closed her eyes and blew out the candles. "What did you wish for?" I asked.
Her face turned sad again, but she quickly covered it up. "Nothing. I'm perfectly fine with my life." She lied, at least I think she lied. I could tell by the way she said it. I hugged her tight. "LET'S EAT CAKE!" Niall yelled running in with a knife. Jackie lowered his arm. "Niall, don't run with a knife in your hand. It's dangerous." She teased. "Ok, mom." He pouted and started cutting the cake. The doorbell rang. "Who's that?" Jackie asked. "I think I know.." I said walking over to the door.
"Mum!" I yelled giving her a hug. "Oh Harry, I missed you." She said kissing my cheek. "Anne?!?" I heard Jackie's voice behind me. "Jackie!!!" My mum yelled running to Jackie giving her a hug. "Oh my god. I've missed you so much." Jackie said. "It's been over a year." My mum said. I smiled looking at them catching up. I put my arms around Jackie's waist. Jackie looked up at me.
"Thank you, Anne." Jackie said.
"For what?" Mum asked confused.
"You helped me get through everything, if it wasn't for you. I would've never met Harry. And we wouldn't be where we are today." She said.
I kissed Jackie on the cheek. It made me the happiest lad in the world hearing Jackie say that. "Well, you're both very welcome." She laughed. "I can't believe you guys are together now. I had this all pictured in my head from the moment I met Jackie." My mum said.
"Me too." I whispered.
~Jackie~
"Thank you." I whispered before kissing Harry's cheek. "This has been the best birthday ever." He smiled at me. "Anything for the girl I love most." He said kissing my forehead. "I'm gonna head to bed now. Goodnight." I said. "One last birthday kiss, for the birthday girl." He said before planting a soft kiss on my lips. "Goodnight." I said closing the door. I headed to my old room where Perrie was also staying.
"Hey gurl, hey!!" Perrie yelled. "Shh! The boys are sleeping." I laughed flopping down on the bed. "So lets talk about you." Perrie said suddenly getting serious. "What about me?" I asked sitting up. "Why have you been so upset." She asked. "Upset? I haven't been-" Perrie interrupted me. "Yes you are Jackie. Zayn was saying you haven't been yourself lately." She said.
"I haven't been myself since the fans started to come at me." I mumbled. "Is that what this is about? Jackie, it's gonna get better." She said. "You've said that before, everyone has. They've gotten worse, I didn't receive one birthday wish today. Just death threats. DEATH THREATS EVERY SINGLE DAY." I said raising my voice. "Jackie, they're horrible. I know, but you've got to learn to ignore them." She said.
"Even if I do ignore them, it won't stop. It won't ever stop." I said tears falling from my eyes. "I didn't mean to make you cry. I'm sorry." Perrie said hugging me. "No, it's fine. I just want some sleep." I said laying down on the bed. Perrie laid down also. My eyes fluttered shut but instantly flew open.
"Perrie, I need to tell you something important." I said with tears coming from my eyes.
"What?" She asked.
"You can't tell anyone."
"I promise I won't."
"Well.." I choked. "Never mind, just forget about it."
"Jackie-"
"I'm not ready to tell anyone, you'll find out."
