"Wait... That's it?" I asked in disbelief. "That's sound like a bunch of bullshit to me. For I fucking know my soul is still intact and that my sons soul will be collected by some devil. I don't even believe in that shit. Plus I have a daughter... well for right now. " I cannot fucking believe this. This doesn't make any sense to me what-so-ever.
Mason sits the book down and takes off his glasses and gently places them on top of the open book. "Well, son, this is mythology. Nothing in this book is real but it's true that your great, great, great grandfather did work for the Queen and gotten rich but he was a writer as well. I have documents on him and nothing in those documents talks about demons and the curse that's "being" passed down to sons-"
"It's fake because I have a daughter not a son. The old man wanted to spice up his life story because his life wasn't interesting." I growled and stood up. "What a fucking waste of my time." I turn my back and made my way to the door to the bright outside world. "Wait! Here's something in the back of the book." Mason called out to me.
I sighed and make my way back to him. I watch him flip the book to the front pull a string that has a key at the end of it and flips the book on the back again. Mason puts the key in the lock and turns the key. A little box thing pops out of the book causing Mason and I to jump slightly. Mason grabs the box and slides the top of it off. Inside the box was the most rare and beautiful ring I've ever seen. Mason gasp. "This-this wasn't in any of his documents nor did he mention a ring."
I slowly took the ring out of the box and held it in the palm my hand. It felt like it burned in my hand like I shouldn't be touching this at all but it was beautiful not to touch. The ring is thick, giving it a real good look; it looks very old and needs updated. It's real gold and silver with a pentacle symbol inside a red gem. "Wait there's a note. It says... "Give this ring to the seventh generation son and he shall be temporarily free from the evil curse. ~Chase."" Mason and I looked at each other confused.
Suddenly, the door burst open and Riker storms in. "Reyes's we need your help. Like now!" I take the ring and shove it in my pocket and rushed behind Riker out the door. "What's going on?" I asked. "There's a sighting of a gang trespassing in our territory hiding out in a wearhouse just a few miles from here." We walked up to the Jeep wrangler that Jake let us borrow.
"Do you have a gun on you, little brother?" I nod, feeling the heavy weight of the gun glued to my belt. We both get in the Jeep. Riker took the driver side and I took the passagner side. "Do you know how we are going to get in without getting killed?" I asked. Riker starts the jeep and pulls out of the driveway.
"Yeah, I have Zeke, Bulk, and Hicks surrounding the premeter. Does Dom and Donovan ring a bell?" He glanced at me then turns back to the road."Yes, they do." Letting my possessiveness show in my voice. They were friends of Kitten. They joined up with Lukes gang and put me in jail. They will die today. But suddenly, I became confused. "Zeke, Bulk, and Hicks is helping?" Something isn't adding up. "Does Jake know about this? You know they blew up the club." I pressed my brother.
"Yes, dude and no he doesn't know. Would you please chill the fuck out?" Riker snaps. I lay my head back on the head rest of the seat and shut my eyes.
The whole ride is nothing but quiet and I know deep down in my gut that something is going to get very bad and very quick. But if it's Luke's gang then we need to take care of it immediately. Then I will deal with those three pricks. As quiet as the ride was, we pulled up to the wearhouse pretty quickly. Riker turns the Jeep off and we both get out quietly, drawing our handguns. "Should we split up?" Riker asked. As we walk up to the wearhouse doors. "No, let's stick together. Don't want you getting blood over Jakes Jeep." I half joked. Riker rolls his eyes and opens the door. Not even suprised it was unlocked we make our way inside. Big box creates stacked against the four walls of the wearhouse; to the ceiling.
A fimilar musty scent lingers throughout the wearhouse getting caught on our clothes. We walked slowly and cautiously deeper in the wearhouse; keeping and eyes out for any sudden movements.
Once, we checked the wearhouse. I became very confused as to why no one is here. "Riker, there's no-" Instant pain causing both of my ear to ring. It takes minutes to realize that someone had hit me in the back of my head with something really hard. I groan and blink rapidly to clear the multiplying black dots clouding my vision. "Riker!" I tried to yelled through my pounding headache. Not able to stand I crouch and lean on the creates to keep me from falling to the ground.
"Don't worry, brother. I got you." Rikers blurry appearance come into view. At first, I could see Rikers concerned look as he tries to keep my body from dropping on the wearhouse dirty ground. I squint my eyes up at him and realize he didn't look concern. Riker is smirking down at me. "Goodnight brother."
Just like that I'm knocked out cold.
"Hey, wake the fuck up!" A hard slap across the face causes me to jolt awake. I groan and blink to clear my vision again. As dim as the light is in the wearhouse right now it's fucking brighter than the damn sun. Everything. Fucking. Hurts. Head to toe stiff as a board but very painful. I can tell the slightest sounds are way to loud for my ears right now. A person can talk normal but would sound as if they are yelling right now. Only to feed my angry headache. The wearhouse is extremely hot. I'm the drenched in sweat that could easily be mistaken as if it looks like someone had poured a lot of water on me.
A few beads of sweat runs down my forehead so I left up my hand to rub it away. Only to realize that my hands are tied back in rope. I used all my might to break the rope to get free but it's too strong at the moment.
I looked up seeing seven fimilar faces appearing down at me. "You've got to be kidding."
