"Oh, this isn't a story this is in the history books."

I remember sitting in World History class, in high school. In fact, I remember my whole freshmen year perfectly well. From being picked on by upperclassmen, even my own class year to showing that I was not to be pushed around anymore. But that was History.

I remember what my World History teacher asking us on the first day of school. "Write down on a piece of paper in a group on what you think History is or what it means"

Damn, I hated being in those stupid groups.

After, we wrote down what we thought was our answer. The teacher picked and called each group to go over that they had written down on their paper. One kid actually had the whole definition of what History means " A study of past events and has been written down in books to learn about what had happened into the past"

Another kid snorted and said "Kinda like my relationship with Lassy. History"  The class laughed at his comment but I never thought it was funny.

"History. If we keep track of our History it would be able to help us- to tell us why we have rules that exist in the modern-day. That's true and stupid. Have you heard of history repeating itself? If you haven't realize that History will never stop repeating itself. No matter what we do to stop having History repeat itself. It won't be the same situation but its close to what had happened a hundred- even a thousand years ago. It's... Impossible. History repeats itself from past generations"

The words slipping out of my mouth. The teacher looked at me impressed and in awe. He took a drink of his coffee and nodded his head. "Very good, Mr. McCoyed." I gave him a quick smile and looked at the class. I notice them glaring at me. I looked back down at my paper. I was the one that had to come up with answers and idea's as my "partners" talks amongst themself, leaving me out of it. After class ended I grabbed my History book and walked out. I kept my head down as I walked through the halls of noisy children. Just about as I was to walk in my next class I was pushed up against the wall, my textbook chucked to the floor. Everyone had cleared out of the halls and went to their next class.

"So the nerd speaks?" The blonde hair boy named Roman was in my face, bearing his teeth. I looked away from him not saying a word. My hands shook with fear, my throat closing up making it hard for me to breathe. "Awwe little pussy is scared?" He mocks. He grabs a hold on my jaw forcing me to look up to his blazing eyes. I know that Roman had a thing for me deep down but he acted to treat me like shit so he didn't end up like me. There's one thing that Roman hated was rejection. He touched my cheek. I remember shuttering because of how weird it was when he was around me when it was just two of us. He lets go of my face and picked up my textbook before shoving it against my thin chest before walking away for good. I don't think Roman ever came out of the closet but I wouldn't know since he never came back.

No, I don't have a thing for guys. In fact, I didn't have a thing for anyone up until the end of eleventh grade and the beginning of twelfth grade. When I dated Luke's dumb sister. I liked Roman as my bully better when Luke came in the picture. His whore of a sister got what she fucking deserves and as for Luke, I would love to get my fucking hands around his neck as soon as I get home.

My flashbacks ended when an old dusty book slammed on the table in front of my face. Gen waves her hand in front of her face trying to clear the dust. I didn't notice that she left and came back. "What is this?"

She smirks and smacked the top of the book. "You are going to learn your History,"

I gave her a are-you-kidding-me look before letting out a long sigh. Gen pushes the book towards me. I go for the book, but Gen smacks my hand away. "Before you read, how about you go and get confortable. We have spare bedrooms for the both of you." I looked at Riker as he looks at me, we both nodded and got up.

Jack showed me the way to my room as Gen took Riker to his.

"Hey man, I'm sorry about that fight outside," I told Jack.

"Don't sweat it."

Well so much for small talk.

Jack stops in front of a bedroom door and turn towards me. He rubs the back of his head. "Well... Heres your room and if you need anything let Gen or I know. There are towels and clothes that my son used to wear that might be able to fit you."

I gave his a quick nod and a small smile. Jack walks away and I walked into my room, shutting the door and locking it. The room is plain and slightly dusty from not being touched. I guess this will do. I threw the old book onto the bed and sat down in the chair by the desk. I rubbed my face, feeling stress overcome my body. I feel like I'm having a withdraw from being away from my family. I want to get back as soon as possible but I should- no I need to know about my past, my History.

I stared at the old book debating if I wanted to start now or in the morning. I got up off the chair and made my way to the bathroom. I turned on the shower letting it turn hot and stripped out of my clothes. I jumped into the shower, slightly hissing when the heat of the water came into contact with my bruised face. I'm having a hard time processing whatever Gen had told me. I don't want to believe what she had told me. I think her mind is scrambled like fucking eggs. She made it seem like she believed it herself. What the hell is a Levithan? What does it have to do with me. Just because she says it was "passed" down from my great, great grandfather to me doesn't change that fact that I'm about to be one of the biggest gang leader.

When I finished my long nice shower. I hopped out and dried off with the towel. I tied the towel around my waist and walked out of the bathroom into the bedroom.

"Oh my..." A voice said, startling me. I snapped my body around and notice Gen covering her eyes. "I am so sorry. I just wanted to make sure that you are confortable before we shut down the bar and go to bed." Her cheeks rosy red.

I gave Gen a gentle nod then realize that she can't see me. "Thanks, Gen but that will be all."

She makes her way out of my room, hands still covering her eyes and shuts my door. I let out a deep chuckle before changing and rolling into bed. I grabbed the book and laid it down into my lap. My fingers rubbed the title of the book.

History of Levi McCoyed

I opened the book and read the first page.
