"It's a mistake! I take it back!" She yelled, her head becoming woozy. She supported herself with her hand against the door. "Help!"
She heard the front door slam, "I'm home!" It was her Mum.
"Help me!" She yelled, her vision darkening into just shadows.
"Katie?" Her Mum asked from the doorway. But it was too late. She fell, slipping into complete darkness, the only sounds were her mum's yells for her.

Katie felt weak. Her mouth tasted of metallic. Her breaths felt shallow.
"Katie?" Her mum quietly asked from beside her, smoothing back her crazy brunette hair.
Katie groaned, "What happened?"
"That's what I'd like to know." Her mother's stern voice snapped her into the past, reminding her of what happened.
"Mum, I'm sorry." Katie muttered.
"Do you even realize how precious your life is, Katie?" Her mother snapped, "And to do it continually?"
Katie dropped her head, "Are they sending me to the mental hospital?"
Her mum sadly shook her head, "You'll get better, stronger. Something that couldn't happen here."
"So I won't even be near home?" Katie picked up her head, tears wetting her face.
"Honey, this is for the better. I promise." Her mum patted her knee before leaving the room.
Katie shook her head, wiping away her tears.
"Why me?" She whispered.
