Maria pov:

After we had finished eating breakfast, Nathan had taken me down the path of a large clearing. Well..more like dragged me into said clearing, but that's besides the point. The sun was shining and the air was clear, I wonder what he had in mind.. maybe a date? I could use one of those, but I dont think he's the.. romantic type..

As we were approaching, I could hear the sound of loud whispers and the shuffling of feet, lots of feet.

Ok then.. definitely not a date..

I looked around anxiously and I could chills running down my back. I wasn't scared or anything! But I could feel a disturbance in the force..

He's up to something and I don't like it..

When we had finally arrived in center, I noticed all the others who had gathered here as well. They were all just standing there.. staring at me.. that's..not weird at all.

What is he up to...

"Soo... your not gonna like- publicly execute me...right?" I chuckled lightly. Although- I was dead serious.

"If it's about the pancakes, I regret nothing!"

I couldn't help but take a defensive stand which made him look at me as if I was crazy. I mean- I am but.. he doesn't need to know that.

If I knew I was gonna die, I would have asked for a second round of pancakes! Stingy bastard!

The closer to the crowd we got, the quieter the people became.

I was really going to be executed.. Damn.

Nathan Pov:

Executed? Why would she think...

I face palmed. I was just so stunned when she had asked me- that I forgot to reply!

'Jason!' I mind linked my third in command.

'Sir?'

'Do I look like the type of man who would execute his mate?' I asked, mildly annoyed.

'...no sir..' His reply was slow and hesitant.

What do these people take me for?

Sigh~

This is going to be a looooong day.
