"Young Miss a Royal Decree has arrived!" one of the maids working at the Lockhart's Manor said as she hurriedly helped Eleanor up.
Eleanor lazily went down knowing for a fact Leo must've complained to his parents. Eleanor rolled her eyes at the sight of no other less than Leo who was wearing a crown on his head.
"It is an honour for His Serene Grace and His Royal Highness to pay a visit to our humble manor. What seems to be the problem here?" Thomas Lockhart, Eleanor's father who hurriedly came, said as Eleanor stopped walking hoping her dad could solve the issue for her. "The King has issued a royal decree for, Lady Eleanor Lockhart" the Grand Duke Lincoln, Leander's grandfather said.
Master Lockhart was in shocked. What has Eleanor done? "Summon the young miss" Master Lockhart whispered to a nearby maid who bowed and ran to get Eleanor.
"His Serene Grace, Your royal highness, welcome to our humble home" Madam Lockhart, Eleanor's step mother said as she slightly bowed in respect. "Madam Lockhart, it has been quite awhile" The Grand Duke said with a smile.
Eleanor who was forced down the stairs rolled her eyes. "Bow down" Madam Lockhart said kicking the back of Eleanor's leg as Eleanor bowed. The Grand Duke watched her in amusement. He was surprised at how the infamous young miss of the Lockhart's grew up to be. He knew eventually Eleanor and Leo was destined to be married ever since he first saw them together years ago.
"Grand Duke, hurry hurry" Leo said tugging at the Grand Duke's sleeve as the Grand Duke sighed questioning who's rank is higher here.
"Lady Lockhart, receive the royal decree" Grand Duke spoke as Madam Lockhart made Eleanor bow again.
"Lady Lockhart has been blessed by the heavens for being such a kind lady to save the 3rd prince from danger. Therefore, Lady Lockhart is awarded by the King, marriage to the 3rd prince" The Grand Duke read out loud.
"What!" Madam Lockhart and Master Lockhart yelled in shocked. Leo smiled. "Thank you so much for taking care of Eleanor, mother, father. I promise I would take good care of her" Leo spoke up as he took Madam Lockhart's and Master Lockhart's hands.
"Can I reject a royal decree?" Eleanor asked as all eyes were on her. "I'm afraid no, young lady" Grand Duke said excited at the thoughts of Eleanor teaching Leo a lesson for him.
"The wedding will be held next week at Seadel Church" Grand Duke said before taking their leave. "I'll see you soon my fiancé!" Leo yelled as the Grand Duke forced him out of the entrance.
"Mind explaining what happened?" Madam Lockhart said, hands folded together, looking at Eleanor dead in the eyes. "I punched the prince by accident and treated his bruise" Eleanor blurted out. Master Lockhart just blinked his eyes as Eleanor looked at him waiting for him to say something. "You're 21 anyways. Why should we stop you from getting married to a Prince?" Master Lockhart said as he turned his back and walked away. "Darling!" Madam Lockhart said chasing him.
"But I don't like him!" Eleanor yelled as her parents dissappeared at the end of the hallway. "Deal with it yourself! You're an adult now!" Master Lockhart's yelled, his voice disappearing as he entered his studies. Eleanor pouted as she ran up to her room, throwing a tantrum.
"Congratulations young miss, your wish of having a noble title is finally fulfilled!" a maid said excitedly. "But I only wanted to be Lady Eleanor or Her Grace Eleanor. I never wanted to be Princess Eleanor" Eleanor said throwing herself on her bed. "But it's every girl's dream to be a princess" the maid said again as she was confused to why Eleanor is hating this so much.
"I grew up treated like one. Does that not make me one?" Eleanor said, her voice coming out as muffles as she covered her face with a plushie.

"You actually made His Majesty issue a royal decree just for your marriage?" Samuel said shaking Leo excitedly. "I know I'm smart. There's no way she can say no this marriage again" Leo said and laughed as Leander shook his head.
"I don't understand what's so good with Eleanor that you would choose her over my younger sister? She's feminine and smart unlike the rude and dumb Eleanor" Jonathan blurted out feeling angry inside. All of them became quiet as Leo's smile dropped. "Hey Jon. You do know that I do not have feelings for Johannah. Nor does she likes me in any way" Leo said, patting Jonathan's shoulder hoping to console him. "Eleanor clearly does not like you too, your highness" Jonathan blurted out as tears ran down his cheeks. Leo's hand dropped.
"Jon what is wrong with you?" Leander said pushing Jonathan away from Leo. "And you're just a grandson of the Grand Duke. What makes you think you're better than all of us?" Jonathan said again as Leander scoffed. "Knock it off Jon" Samuel said pushing Jon back.
"If only you guys would notice. But what was I expecting. All of you only care about the Prince's feelings" Jonathan said as he rolled his eyes and walked away with tears in his eyes. The 3 of them just watched him dissappear into the hallways. They were looking at each other confused.
