A week has gone by, Jonathan has been avoiding his friends. He even left their group chat. He would leave as fast as he could after classes end leaving the three of them confused.
"Do you know where he always goes to after classes?" Samuel said totally in full gossip mode while watching Jonathan leave the lecture hall. Leo and Leander shook their heads. "He would be having breaks with Eleanor in the campus's garden. Alone" Samuel said emphasising the last word. Leo scrunched his eyebrows. "Why would he be hanging out with my fiancé? They're not even that close" Leo asked a little disturbed. "He might be trying to steal Eleanor away before you get married for revenge" Samuel said with such exaggeration. "That's nonsense. A royal decree cannot be broken once it's issued" Leander said as Leo tried to think positively. "Well who knows they might elope or something?" Samuel said as Leo and Leander looked at him. Leo stood up and ran out of the classroom as fast as he could.

"Don't you think it's really funny?" Eleanor said, laughing as Jonathan smiled looking at her. Just then a butterfly came flying onto Eleanor's hands as Eleanor yelled and climbed onto Jonathan's embrace, burying her face into his chest. "Get that off of me!" Eleanor yelled in horror. Jonathan laughed knowing Eleanor is afraid of bugs as Jonathan grabbed the butterfly and let it fly away. "How are you as beautiful as the butterfly but you're so much afraid of it?" Jonathan said and smiled as Eleanor looked at him.
"Did you just say I'm beautiful?" Eleanor said and smiled brightly looking at Jonathan. "The lady killer Jonathan actually thinks I'm beautiful?" Eleanor said again as Jonathan coughed awkwardly. Eleanor was about to pull away from the hug but Jonathan stopped her. "Let's just stay like this for awhile" Jonathan said leaning his head on Eleanor's shoulder as a tear dropped from his eyes.
"Okay?" Eleanor said as she embraced Jonathan, feeling a tear drop on her college uniform. She didn't want to invade Jonathan's privacy so she let her cry in her embrace.
"I knew it" a voice appeared as Eleanor was forcefully pulled away from Jonathan. "Are you trying to provoke me right now Jonathan?" Leo said as he pulled Eleanor behind his back. "What's wrong with you?" Eleanor said trying to free herself. "What's wrong with me? No! What's wrong with you! Why are you embracing another man at daylight a few days before our wedding!" Leo yelled as Eleanor shut her mouth.
"Hey don't yell at Eleanor! Yell at me!" Jonathan yelled at Leo who got even more pissed. "Who do you think you are to be talking to me like that? You're just a son of a duke. I am the son of the King" Leo said glaring at Jonathan dead in the eyes.
Eleanor was creeped out at how they were fighting over their noble rankings, feeling grateful she wasn't born into the royalty world. She was questioning her wish of wanting to be a part of the noble world. She also understood why her dad didn't want to involve himself in the fight for political powers and influence and continued to live a life as a business billionaire.
"I have to remind you of your position Lord Millington, You are the son of His Grace Duke Millington meanwhile I am the Third Prince Nicholas Leonardo Kingsley. You are no better than me in any ways" Leo said emphasising his title and name. "If looks could kill Jonathan would've been dead by now" Eleanor whispered observing the tension between the two.
Just then Samuel and Leander came, panting so hard as if they just ran a marathon. "What did we miss?" Samuel said, hands on his knees trying to catch his breath. Leo just stared at them. Samuel and Leander shut their mouth noticing the look on Leo's face. "And you. I have to remind you, you are going to be the Third Prince's wife soon. You should stop meeting someone of the opposite gender behind my back" Leo said glaring at Eleanor before pulling her away forcefully. Leander and Samuel just raised an eyebrow as they followed Leo away not forgetting to give Jonathan some dirty looks.

Leo had forced Eleanor to go back to the palace with him. "Eleanor it has been a long time since I've last seen you" the Queen said as she smiled warmly, grabbing Eleanor's shoulder, giving her a hug. Eleanor was confused. "Pardon me but have we met before?" Eleanor asked having so many questions in her mind. "Oh yes, I forgot about that accident. It's fine Eleanor you don't have to remember the old times. What matters is you're healthy right now" The Queen said again as she smiled. Eleanor just laughed awkwardly assuming she was being mistaken as another person.
"Are you staying over for dinner?" the King asked actually excited to meet Eleanor again. She certainly grew up to be a beautiful young lady.
Eleanor looked at Leo who was smiling while looking at his parents adoring Eleanor. "Yes she will be staying for dinner" Leo said as Eleanor's mouth dropped in shock. "Alright we'll go and check how the dinner preparations are doing. You two lovebirds can take a tour around the Palace" The Queen said as she pulled the King away leaving the two alone.
"Did you just made a decision for me?" Eleanor said looking at Leo in disbelief. "Yes I did. So what?" Leo replied with a cocky expression. "I did not sign up for you to be so overly controlling Leo" Eleanor said folding her arms in annoyance. "If I give you the freedom then will you run away to another man's arms just like how you did earlier?" Leo said raising his eyebrows, slowly walking towards Eleanor, showing his dominance. Eleanor rolled her eyes. "I told you it's not what you think it is Leo. Besides I already agreed to this stupid marriage. What else do you want?" Eleanor said, her arms dropping to the side of her hips ready to throw hands not caring of his title.
"Are you trying to pick a fight with me in the palace right now Eleanor?" Leo said smirking, knowing he has the advantages here. Eleanor scoffed and rolled her eyes wondering what did she do wrong to have him wrapped around her fingers. She went from being his enemy to being his fiancé just in 3 days. Where did being acquaintances then friends then lovers stage went?
Not to mention the fact that Leo does not take no's as an answer.
